Good luck to Cheraw....I wished we could've given y'all a better game but the offense couldnt move ball and the defense played as hard as they could just got wore down....anyways I will be rooting for y'all tonight....

A-Town is missing 2 starting O-line...starting DE broke his arm last week and starting QB is doubtful..Best WR is doubtful too.. Most injury riddled team I have ever seen. But..the cupboard is far from empty. The Panthers have 5 legit starting RBs and the young guns are filling in nicely. Defenses can put people in the right position all they want against this offense...you can’t coach, teach or combat speed. 8, 23, 21, 15, all will take it to the house on any given play. I’ve heard a lot about Cheraw’s big D-Line... which is gonna be tough between the tackles, but Cheraw’s linebackers better be VERY fast laterally.. and their safety’s better not take a bad angle or it’s bye bye...Chesterfield put 10 in the box and once the RB’s got past the first level..there was nobody left to try and tackle them. Pick your poison. Let them gut you for 7-8 yards a clip or stack the box and get a stop on 1st and 2nd down and then give up a 70 yarder on 3rd and 5... or stack the box and get hit with a play action for 80 yards.. Just a really tough offense to stop. Same speed in the defensive backfield for Abbeville too. 2, 27, 14, 34, 36... all very fast. Undersized DL is the only A-town weakness. If Cheraw can grind it out on the ground, control the clock and keep the A-town offense on the sidelines...that’s the recipe. Yet nobody has really done that yet.

Listen to the home radio call on 92.9fm if you’re in Abbeville or on the free “STREEMA-Simple Radio” app... search WZLA inside the app.. coverage starts at 630.

So far Einstein's game plan is working for the Braves. Only problem he sees long term is the Braves inability to throw the ball. If you were to combine the Braves defense with the Rams offense, it would be on to round 4. The Rams never forced a punt and the Braves have already forced 3. Keep it up Cheraw!!

Half

Abbeville 7
Cheraw 0

The pressure is shifting to Abbeville. If the Braves can complete some passes downfield in the 2nd half, they might be doing the war dance in Dizzy Gillespie by midnight.

Go Rams!! Go Braves!!
