And Woodruff breathes a sigh of relief.

Going to be some good, hard hitting games in that region. If Saluda can keep improving, that will be a very good region top to bottom with Newberry and MC in it as well.

YES IN DEED, I cant wait till next year when abbeville get back in 2A .This is going to be a good region with alot of good football games week in and week out. Every friday night you can look foward to seeing a good game and not these blowouts we are haveing this year.

As it is,Woodruff will be the smallest 3A school and Dillon will be the 4th largest 2A school......assuming they actually shift those 50 kids to Lake View.

This is an old post, but I must of over looked it then...To set the record straight, There has not been any re districting in Dillon county as far as school boundry lines go, Dillon Schools brought Lake View into their District for financial reasons..Lake View could not afford to operate, and Dillon is helping them with money....look for a merge in the next couple years, then Dillon will have to move to 3A....that will be a Good thing for the Dillon County Football program.... ;)

I knew about the district consolidation. If they are not shifting the boundaries who can tell us why SCHSL subtracted 50 from Dillon's attendance numbers and added them to Lake View?

I wouldn't know who to ask. I'm sure that it was of great interest to the Woodruff AD and coaches during the realignment meetings because of its effect: Dillon gets to stay in 2A, Woodruff becomes the smallest school in 3A instead of the largest school in 2A.

Here is the SCHSL 135-ADM for 2012-2014 Realignment
http://www.schsl.org/2011/135web.html

I can't find the 135-ADM broken down by school on the Dept. of Education website, the file was e-mailed to me back in August. I did find it by district and the numbers for the Dillon districts don't exactly match what was sent to me originally. (They are still off from the HSL's numbers, not by exactly 50 each like the original ones.)

I've changed computers and can't find the original, un-edited file I got from the Dept of Ed. I might be able to go back in my mail archives and get it.

The District 135-ADM can be found here at the link below, I'll look for that original file that broke it down by schools.
