Newberry (5-0) at Woodruff (2-3):

Newberry has won only three times in Woodruff...the 1969 and 1975 regular seasons as well as the 2014 playoffs.
I know Woodruff has some injuries but you never know when their offense is going to break out one of their legendary players.
I'm very nervous about this game, as I easily see it going Woodruff's way.
The Hooter Girls say that they're as nervous for Newberry in this game as they are whenever they go meet their boyfriends' parents...especially when the dad is a Baptist preacher!
Hooter Girl Lauren sees it as it being a very close game..."one point or even closer than that" she said!

Didn't know we had only won there 3 times, I know it can be a crazy atmosphere. That 2014 game was very close at the half, the Newberry running game wore them down that second half.

Congrads to the Bulldogs. Good football team.
Wolverines play hard, but just not ecought size or playermakers right now.

It's been a rough season for sure, but sometimes that's the way the cookie crumbles when you have a rash of injuries to many key starters. Luckily all of the injured starters are underclassmen and the Wolverines will (or should) return a loaded team next year and make a strong run. We just have to weather the storm of 2017.

Good win, Newberry, and best of luck going forward.
Welcome to Woodruff, the original title town. Pardon us for the beatdown you are about to receive. We hope you enjoy your visit, and please come again soon!
