Chester-State Champs 2010

Postby Cyclone21 » Mon Sep 20, 2010 4:53 pm

After 5 football games, Chester is where most fans thought they would be. We have played a tough schedule and have been shown to be vulnerable against the run. Watch the adjustments we make after the bye-week. We will put eight in the box and dare you to beat our Division one DB's one on one. We will go to the more short quick passing game instead of the vertical game weve been using so far. Julius Pendergrass and Brent Minter will get more touches.

Fort Mill- Chester wins 48-12
Nation Ford- Chester wins 40-20
South Pointe- Chester wins 31-28
Fairfield Central- Chester winsa 38-24
York- Chester wins 42-12

We finish 8-2. Then you so call contenders will have to come to Cyclone Country and get a win where we have won 28 of 30.

Chester will once again rise. WE WILL BE THE STATE CHAMPIONS THIS YEAR.

You better throw it quick if you think you'll put 31 up against South Pointe...

Is McNeal healthy enough for a long term run deep in playoffs? I have heard conflicting reports. I will see them vs South Pointe in a few weeks

He looked good against Mallard Creek last week. The O-line didn't look to good the second half. It Shouldn't be to hard considering South Pointe's secondary looks suspect. I think putting 8 in the box would help Chester a lot. This should be a good game.

If you put 8 in the box trust me, SP will kill your pass defense. You have to be able to play both pass and run...you guys are going to get blown out! Don't you get it, two weeks in a row, when competing against top talent, you have failed! Not even close: SP 48 Ch 23..and that's with them showing mercy..Clowney is going to hurt somebody if your line doesn't block any better this week!

I think the secondary can handle it, besides South Pointe's passing game isn't that impressive. Our O-line seem to get lazy in the second half, hopefully they will get better. The problem isn't offensively, its our defense. I'm glad K.D Hicks will be back for the region.
