I had not heard Wren had players suspended too. I was at the game and feel it is only fair that Wren & Daniel players both receive suspensions. Both teams had surprising loses last week and I'm confident the suspensions didn't help. Good luck to Daniel this week. I still fear the lions and red devils every year!

In order to maintain my credibility as a poster, I just got off the phone with a local sports talk radio host "in the know". He told me that the suspensions were HSL mandated. Just wanted to make it known and clear the air.

Thanks uncle! I was pretty sure the suspensions were handed down from the high school league. It doesn't surprise me at all to hear the coach talk like he was the one behind it. He likes to put on a good show. Bottom line is, we all hope the kids learned a lesson. It is a tough way to learn it, but it should go a long way in making a point (even if the coach isn't the one making the decision). A loss now doesn't hurt you anyway. The coaches should use it as a teaching tool.

Are the suspended players cleared to play against Gville this weekend?

I believe everyone will be back except for Antonio Cannon. He should be available next week for the Westside game.
