Colleton County High School Coach Search

Postby CCHSCougars86 » Thu Feb 02, 2017 4:34 am

Any word on who Colleton County is looking for to be it's next Head Football Coach? Sad to see Coach Collins leave the way it happened and all the rumors that I have heard about the situation. As an alum of CC sad to see what used to be such a Rich Football Tradition fall so far from what it used to be. A team that used to constantly win 8 or 9 games a year and constantly be in the playoffs. Just thought I would see if anyone knew any coaches that are applying for the job? At this point would almost like to see Coach Riley come back. GO Cougars!!!

Yeah seemed like he was starting to get talent to come back but for some reason we did lose a couple players to Fort Dorchester last year one being WR Justin Williams who was really really good. Idk what is going on now but hopefully we land a good coach that can make things better for Walterboro/Colleton County.

Well looking at his coaching record at Battery Creek after 3 seasons 7-25 I dont think we would want him as our next head coach. Need to go after someone big to bring CC back.

Carlos Cave definitely fits the "someone big" part. Other than that it would be a disaster of a hire.

HE HAS DONE GOOD AROUND AS AN ASST IN PLACES. NOT MANY PEOPLE COULD WIN AT BATTERY CREEK.

Any other coaches applying for the job? Have seen nothing updated on the Colleton County school website or anything. I still don't even know why they let Coach Chris Collins go.
