If DF is to lose a game this coming year it could be to mallard creek solely due to it being the first game and jitters. Not really familiar with Northwestern but they seem to have lost their dominant way after Kyle Richardson left. Of course they will be formidable but I don't think they really have the all around it factor to beat DF. Boiling Springs lost too much for me to see them as a threat. The year to win it for them was in 2016. Lexington always field a competitive team but they just don't have what it takes to best DF.

I can see exactly what you are saying and i agree with you and i think you are right its still very early and i am thankful we can talk about the schedule and you can give good insight and not think im trying to belittle DF with my way to early predictions

Of course not. I know you were only giving your honest opinion and it's stil a long ways until the season so early predictions are always welcomed.

Advantage for DF, they start padding it up long before NC schools can go live. Plus they have Tommy Knotts. He's great at game planning against his opponents. I believe Mike Palmieri is a younger version of Knotts. The reason i believe this game will be close. MC will have a lot of Athletes on the field and replacing a very average OC. Knotts will have to figure out what they do game time. Which he is very capable of doing, but it might end up being to late.

Watch Out Now!!!!! I see the Goose Creek Gators becoming a contender for the 5A State Title once again, since they have a New Head Coach from South Pointe.

Who is the new HC? I haven't heard anything about the position being filled.

I agree about the game possibly being close. But if the team is laser focus and ready to go I think we win. Like you say TK is very good at game planning and he's very familiar with Palmieri as well as Charlotte area teams. DF isn't just a team that gets by due to outstanding coaching. We also have athletes and our D and Oline is always top notch. I will be attending the game so hopefully it's as good as the chatter!
