That fin is lurking just below the surface of the water. I’d stay on the beach just a bit longer before going back into the water.

If we experience a sharknado though, we’re screwed.

Ok, got an explanation on the rubber room which might also explain beyond sports. Apparently it is possible for the owner of a message board to be legally liable for the content published on that board. The political section of SC Prep was apparently getting enough off the rails to make SC Prep management nervous.

It will be brought back online soon. Probably invisible to guests, only visible to members. May also be renamed something other than The Rubber Room which is of course a funny and apropos description but which nonetheless may send the untended signal that particpants can act like it's an insane asylum.

If and when it comes back there will probably be more moderation and a little less patience for less responsible contributions.

That is sad that someone can be held liable for someone else's words. If you've ever seen the movie "Devil's Advocate" with Keanu Reeves, Pacino, the Devil says the reason he uses the law is it puts him in every place in society. "Lawyers are the devil's ministry."

Who says the discussion has to primarily be about politics in “Beyond Sports.” The Walking Dead thread would fit there nicely. For that matter just about anything can be discussed there, within reason of course. Think I’ll start threads about music and the muscle car era. That Street Outlaws program is pretty cool too. Any more ideas are welcomed, what do ya say fellas let’s overwhelm the threads with non-political discussions.
