polysci wrote:Here is my non expert analysis. York won't stop Clovers offense much if at all tonight. Look for Clover to get some big runs. They probably don't have to throw a pass. In fact throwing a pass would work in Yorks favor. Being truthful York hasn't had a good defense since BC's second team in York. He is supposed to be a great defensive coach but he hasn't put a good one together in quite a few years. Since that team York has been able to out score most teams and win because they got once or two stops. This years team really hasn't consistently stop anything thats why I think Clover will put up a bunch of points. Now as far as the York offense, If the qb keeps his poise and delivers anywhere close to what he did last week it will be hard for Clover to stop York, plus York can't do anything stupid like personal fouls and losing key players. I couldn't get a real feel for Clovers D but from what I saw I think York's skill players have a big advantage in speed. Special teams will probably be a toss if Clover kicks away from #1. York is subject to give up a blocked punt. They have all skill players on their line on punts and they are not big enough to stop a big time rush. I don't know why York hasn't changed that. If Clover is smart they will try to get one. With all of that being said I will still give York a slight edge. If #1 plays the whole game and Clover doesn't double team him he will go off for another 200 yard game. Oh and Clover won't run off much clock because it will move the ball down field too easy.

Your first sentence in this post is correct...NON EXPERT  ...last sentence couldn't have been more wrong!!! ...Clover ran York to death for 3 and a half qtrs...congrats to York on a little to late comeback. 8-)
Maybe this year is the year of the CAT...either Bobcat or Bearcat!!!!!!

Im going with Clover in a slug fest!! Keep that streak going!

I disagree, the best thing for "York County football" would be for Rock Hill to get back to where they used to be. I don't believe Clover is that good, I think their record is due to the teams they have played.

Well now......
