Teams TO Take Notice of

Postby racincowboy02 » Wed Oct 24, 2018 4:43 am

Ok this is the last week of the regular season for the upstate and the lowerstate and midlands has one more week to go. What teams should we be looking at this week and taking notice of as we hope into the playoffs. Im not talking about Dutch Fork Fort Dorchester Summerville Dorman Gaffney. Im talking about teams that nobody has said a whole lot about that have went under the radar and have done well and will be a force come playoff time

Byrnes! If we can get healthy we can beat any team in this state, this team has been with out major starters since week one & the two games that Byrnes has lost this year couldve easily went the other way.
Im not saying we will make some noise in the playoffs, but a lot of our kids are seeing playing time due to injuries & are growing up fast so I will not be surprised at all if Byrnes is playing for state this year. ;)
I dont give em hell, I just tell them the truth & they think its hell.

I like it lets hope that yall can get healthy and lets see where the magically ride of playoff football on a friday night takes us. Winning the region this year in my opinion is a bit of a bad thing. Cause if you can make it to the 3rd rd you gotta go to Hanna and have to deal with that option based attack that nobody hardly sees anymore and i don't think that it is easy to game plan for that in a week

I really do know much about the lower state except for Dutch Fork and Fort Dorchester. But in the upstate people know about the favorites, Sumter, Dorman, Hanna, Gaffney, or Byrnes, nobody would be surprise if any of these teams makes the state finals. But who are the under the radar type of teams that are playing good football right now. I think Northwestern, Rock Hill, Bylthewood, are those type of teams.

Opponents may have something to do with that record.

Sumter's opp record is 32-42. In comparison, Byrnes is 46-42, Dorman 39-49 and Gaffney 44-47.

Blythewood. The Bengals have one of the best RBs in the state and team speed to burn. If you are looking for an under-the-radar team, look no farther.

The Berkeley stags are a dangerous team and tl Hanna would give anybody trouble because of the style they play and they got sum big time players on defense I'm not sold on Sumter their region is crap and kinda soft Sumter can't help their competition isn't very good but I need to see them matched up against good comp before I give them the nod
