I know TSA was in the Lake Marion pre-season tournament. They lost 13-3 to Manning High last Friday and beat Crestwood 24-4. Tuesday's game against FCS was cancelled. They played Byrnes tonight over in Florence so I'm not sure about that one. They host Williamsburg tomorrow in what will be the home opener for regular season play.

Laurens will open it's season this weekend with a pair of very tough games. Tonight at 7 against Northwoods and tomorrow vs First Baptist at 3. these games should give us an indication of weather we are deserving of the DP preseason number 1 ranking. The team is very excited to get the chance to compete against these leaders of 2A-3A SCISA baseball, and I hope we can represent 1A and LA well.

Florence Christian's Baseball Team will begin it's season hosting Dillon Christian Tuesday Night and then will travel to Carolina Academy on Thursday Night. In other springs festivities, FC's softball team will start it's Regular Season by hosting Colleton Prep tonight at 5PM, a game that was cancelled Tuesday due to weather. Lastly, FC's soccer squad will open tonight hosting Trinity, kicking off at 5PM.

TSA beat Byrnes last night 15-3. They played Crestwood again on Wednesday and lost 7-2 after scoring 20+ in the first meeting. They beat Williamsburg tonight 12-2. So I have them at 3-2 right now 58 runs and giving up 29. They're off to a great start offensively, but I don't know if they can keep up that kind of production all year.

Dillon Christian won Monday against a public school in NC, South Robeson 9-5 and then beat Byrnes in the Region opener 9-1 on Friday. Currently 2-0. Face Florence Christian Tuesday, which should be a tough game and then Kings later in the week.
