Ask any ten black Americans weather your definition or mine is how they interpet the term African- American and see what the result is. I don't need you to make corrections to my posts.

Words have definitions not interpretations. It either means this or not, not what you THINK it means

Just like I thought the post would go. You guys try and justify what is clearly being said between the lines.

And no I don't have a chip on my shoulder and yes I would vote for this Black man becasue he's Black and jsut as qualified as the next man to be president.

How many days has John McCin spent being president? None, zero the same as Barack Obama so get off this kick about experience. Whom ever wins will have a host of people tha twil give advice and help the president make critical decisions about the safety and economy of America.

You guys talk as if the House/COngress is going ot shut up and what ever President Obama says will be done without question.

The president has one vote just like the rest. He can invoke presidential vote on certain issues but not many. If things were as you look at them why does most of the bills presented by the president get shot down and reworked?

I also noticed that all the Black candidates mentioned were Republicans. And I especially like the Condi J.C. Watts ticket and would vote for it in heart beat. As a registered republican I wish we had such a representive to vote for.

As for me now being the resident race monger, I will gladly stand an carry the mantle for Black Americans when I think they are being unjustly attacked or slandered. If that makes me a race monger so be it. As you love your race I love mine and will make excuses about it.

And many of the statements made on the last couple of post by members of this forum have borderline been out right insulting to my race. This is my opinion and thus it was stated, I don't speak for all the Black members of this forum just for me.

I often wondered why no VP candidates mentioned was Black. Yet, many think Colin Powell could be for McCain. There were no Black democrats in teh senate, house or congress that could fill the post? Most people think and say the VP would have no voice in who gets to be president.

Again, Thanks for your comments and I shall continue to read them not only for entertainment but to educate myself about the feelings of White America. KJ II

Do you feel better now? There is not a single post that you have ever made that wasn't racist in one way or another. You put words in people's mouth's, and profess to be the ultimate authority on each and every word in the dictionary with respect to race relations. Well, you don't! As long as people like you continue to spout hate and make race an issue out of everything you come across, then race relations in this country will never be what you desire. You really should put in a call to Jesse Big Mouth or Al Sharptongue and apply for memership in their hate organizations. Yes, there is a racist on this board, and if you go into your bathroom and look in the mirror, then you'll see him up close and personal!

Only a Penguin can be this cool !

Dr. Wilton, the preacher for First Baptist Church of Spartanburg was born in South Africa, moved to America, became a preacher here and gained citizenship. He is a white man, and if you ask him his nationality, he will tell you he is African-American...

Now, tell me if he is right or wrong...

He is correct....the color of his skin does not matter....he is an African American regardless of what color he may be.....now if he has children born in the US.....they are not African American....they are American.......

KJ once again you throw the race card..How do you expect people to finally come together when everytime doesn't go the way a black-american feels it should they throw out the race card. How do you expect people to react when in this country every time and I mean every time a white man says something that is not politically correct~IMUS..He is gone, no job ex...Then Jackson gets on TV and says the N~Word and it is swept under the rug..Then on the View..Whoopie gets on there saying it is our word..WHAT??? Now, the N~Word belongs to black america?? The word the NAACP had a funeral for several years ago?? The most vile word in American history is now your word..ok.. Roll Eyes

What makes me mad is this...Because I don't believe in what Obama stands for, it makes me racist because I won't vote for him..Give me a break..Hell, I never voted for Clinton or any other Democrat in my entire life...Not even at the local level...

Now, as for as voting for a white person because the are white..I don't vote that way, I served my country in war and We have had an immediate family member in every war this country has ever been involved.....

Now, throw the race-card on me and I'll come laugh in your face..I attended SCSU..Played baseball there when they had a team.Call my friend Bill Hamilton-Sports Information Director at SCSU if you need proof....Or look and see who the first white baseball player in the school's history and you will know who I am...

Better yet...Look at the first white on student council at SCSU and that is my brother...Hell, he was even in JET..hahaha

My other brother graduated from SCSU and worked in Admissions for over 25-years.....

We also had two nephews graduate from SCSU...

So, next time you throw out the race card, think to yourself, am I helping or hurting my race. Wink..

I have to argue with that statement. 95% of the people who claim to be "African American have never set foot on the continent of Africa and neither have their ancestors for a long long time. If they would try just being Americans and leave the rest out it would go a long way toward unity among people in this country. It's a stupid term that was started by the politically correct and I refuse to use it.

First of all, this was the FIRST statement made in this thread about race. I quoted you as being the one who said it. So, just as your following comment says... you should be pretty sure it would go that way seeing as how YOU are the one that took it in that direction.

Just like I thought the post would go. You guys try and justify what is clearly being said between the lines.

It only went where you made it go. Since you took care of steering it in this direction, don't try to lay blame on the people that responded to it. That's just pathetic.

And racist comments like this are one reason people are calling you out as being one yourself. Out of one side of a lot of blacks mouths they scream that they want total equality, yet out of the other they do whatever they can to live in the past and drive a wedge in between our races. Shut up, take a step backward, and look at it from the outside and see it for just how ignorant it really is. Heck, you sound like the sort of guy the NAACP wants. Claim to be all for the advancement of black people, yet their entire existence is based upon bringing back the past. If we indeed achieved total equality, they would have no reason to exist, so they take steps to ensure it doesn't happen. Grow the hell up!

Mr. Wolverine and the other members of this post. I only replied to the first post sent, now I get the blame for the remarks about 40 oz, fried chicken, watermelon, and the other things mentioned to be derogatory towards the Black culture and Sen. Obama.

I merely pointed out those statements and how I felt about them. I asked that we just stick to the issues. I can understand the ones that state I won't vote for him becasue of how he's voted or what I preceive him to stand for. That's what the election should be about.

Not all these post sent out by Bojack and the others attacking any and everything that is posted in support of Sen. Obama. You say you didn't vote for the White candidate just because he was White well that wouldn't have a part since there has only been White candidates to vote for.

Again, thanks for the comments and I will continue to enjoy the banter that goes on. I shall pass many of them on to my father in law living England. I'm sure they will be happy to learn that they're White daughter married a racist.
