This is one of the most difficult predictions I have made. Central and Strom both have lights out defenses, and for the most part, both teams have only be truely tested one time. ST with Silver Bluff, and Central with Chesterfield. This speaks to the quality of the team rather than the strength of schedule. In some way, I think the defenses will cancel out the offenses, so I am going out on a limb and say in a down to the wire contest....

Thanks for the support, but I don't think it will be that much scoring in this game.

I thank you for the support as well. I agree with you. The Defense will some how cancel out the Offense....

I hope the final is as you predicted. With a win for STHS.....Notice I said hope. I feel we can win this game, but this will be the biggest test of the season for both teams. Central, you guys are a class act out there and we look forward to matching up with you guys. Good luck on friday and may the best team win. Remember, in Christ we are all winners. God be with you and your fans as you travel to Johnston......Let's get ready to battle and at the end of the game, come together and give all praise and thanks to God. Lets give the state the game of the year...

I'm gonna predict:
This is "the" premier game in the state this week. The only playoff matchup that features two undefeated teams going head to head, #4 defense vs the #6 defense, both teams avg 37.5 ppg on offense, Central's size vs Thurmond's speed, the Wishbone vs the Spread, two teams that have never met will meet in a hostile environment, plagued with a bigtime atmosphere and surrounded by media, coaches, and players from across the state(i have confirmed that nearly all SC CSRA teams out of the playoffs will be there, staff/players). Crowd expected to be 3 deep on the fence and loud. Weather will be clear and temperture will tumble to the low 30's/high 20's during the game, football weather.

When two teams of this caliber take the field to battle each other, in a contest with a "there is no tomorrow" situation, everything is left on the field and the fireworks will explode. These are the games that make the strong rise up and the weak crumble.

Matchups like this only come around, once every few years, but due to the competiveness of AA football, there is a possibility of more of these games to come this year!

like i said earlier, get your popcorn and peanuts cause it's gonna be a show!

official score prognostication to come on friday!

one of the best posts i have ever read WDOTOTF... and another good one from you tim.

it's going to be a great atmosphere to play in this Friday, and I can assure you that we will be ready, and we know that you guys will be too. We respect you guys probably more than any team we have faced this year.
