I'd have to disagree...Dillon's run defense is better than their pass defense. I think Dillon will beat Manning but will lose the lowerstate.

You know what I AGREE WITH YOU. I am a Big fan of football but I am also a realist. If Dillon makes it past the 4th round I will be SHocked. I basically think we will steal one from Manning this week and then we are most likely going to lose in the 4th unless our players just refuse to lose.

Surprise, surprise; a thread hijacked by braves1989 and braveguy06. I just have a couple questions for you guys. Have either of you seen Manning play this year, and I am guessing no, and what is your problem with Manning? You take every chance you get to take pot shots at Manning, when, according to you, the only teams worthy of being on the field with Cheraw are the two teams from Chesterfield county and Dillon. There are very few posters on this board that are Manning fans, and we have not said one thing about Cheraw. MMDomination seems to be a newbie, and these are the first posts I have seen from him. Are we a great football team? No, not by any stretch of the imagination. Can we play with and beat any team left in the playoffs? You bet we can, but it will all be settled on the field. Now, back to the original thread. Dillon will be a very tough game for us. I think it will be a close game that comes down to which teams makes plays in the fourth quarter. We cannot turn the ball over, as it seems Dillon's defense thrives on turnovers. We have to protect the ball and play our game. Will we win? Who knows, but I will be proud of our kids all the same. They, as has every other team in the state, have worked really hard this year. I hope we can go to Dillon, pull out a W and move on to Lower State against whoever survives the Cheraw/Timberland matchup. BW

If they are playing at Dillon, the I gotta go with the Nasty Cats. I'm pulling for Manning, but the reality, is that they will be playing Dillon and the refs. I found that out the hard way back in '96. I'm sure not a lot has changed since then.

I just reread my post, and I didn't mean to sound so sarcastic. I was simply wondering why all the negativity about Manning. Both of you seem to be good guys and I realize you support your team through thick and thin. Cheraw has a great program and are #1 until someone knocks them off. Those were just a few questions I had. BW

i seen both teams play, some of the stupid play calling that manning does will not work against the cats . I predict the cats win by twenty.

I think Dillon has a good defense, and Manning has a good offense, should be a good game Manning by 8

I get on this site from time to time to get a good laugh. I always love to see just how much some fans know about football. This post would be a prime example of someone who knows nothing. I have watched Dillon and Manning play in person, both are good teams. Dillon's defense will give Manning's offense a good test.
I think the final score will be Manning 21 and Dillon 10. It should be an interesting game. Manning scores 38.5 on offense and Dillon allows 9.5 on defense. Both of those teams have very good coaching staffs. It should be a good one.

wow- I thought the Cheraw-Timberland page was nasty ! I haven't seen Dillon since 2005 (or was it 2004) when they broke our hearts in the third round in AAA. If this team is anything like that team look out. Manning is big and physical, and always well coached and disciplined. I am pulling for Manning here with mixed emotions. I want my region 7 homeboys to represent, but would hate to face them a second time. But I sure hate to see Dillon again. We better show up big time against Cheraw or it won't matter. GO WOLVES!!

Should be a close game. Dont underestimate Manning. Im picking the underdog in this one. Manning by 3. Represent our region and good luck

My first post went.Just as Hannahan and Silver Bluff could not run against Dillon, Manning will get ready for basketball season. Maybe the basketball thing was a little much even Hannahan and SB knows what I meant. That if you don't establish a running game against Dillon they play the pass real well and may beat you.I did'nt say nothing bad about Manning. However your little newbie fan Domination that represent MANNING wants to trash talk well I can talk trash with the best of them. Nothing against good fans like you BW.
