the crowd was good, but I thought it would have been bigger. I know the cold kept my wife home and listening on the radio, probably had that affect on a lot of folks. It was cold, even in the press box (we had the windows open though, hard to call a game closed in)

I like cold weather for football but not 34 degrees cold...i'll take mine in the 50's. Yes...I do think the cold kept some away and I saw many leaving early even with the outcome of the game still in the balance. Wow...couldn't do that...it wasn't that cold........

You are right was'nt that cold for me to leave,still was cold had 2 pair of socks on.

Good win Timberland. You gained alot of respect after that win. Words of advise though. Yall need a new PA announcer before he gets into trouble. A Pa announcer is not suppose to be a cheerleader and taunt the other fans, he is suppose to call the game play by play.

Ramfan, please refrain from making any true statements about TL/fans/announcers ect. you'll be called a sore loser, whiner, can't take a loss, and be called names.

RamFan, you have a significant gripe there. I do not judge because it is not my place but I will say that the announcer does do a lot of things that announcers are not supposed to do. As far as 93statechamp goes he can shut his pie hole because not all Timberland fans think that way. If I am not mistaken RamFan would probably be from Chesterfield so therefore whatever Braves fans say should not matter to him. I am in total agreement with RamFan.

This game seemed to be a close one. Timberland proved me wrong by beating the Braves. You guys are a great team and are very dominate. I hope to see you guys in the State Championship. Congrats on the win.

True I can start for next year. About your PA guy I have not commented up to this very moment , so saying that I thought he sounded more like a DJ in a club instead of an announcer at a football game.

You mean like when the home team is lining up try a fourth and short and he is encouraging the home stands to stand up and make noise?

In fairness to our announcer, this is his first year. He has been good at times and bad at times, but he's ours and he will get better. Best announcer I hear all year was the man from Scotts Branch, a retired army guy I think. He was very good. Knew exactly when to talk and when not to. Knew when to be a little funny and when to be seroius.
