Its been a long time since I have been out there coming from St. Stephens (its been a long time since Ive even been in St. Stephens) so I dont really remember what the street names you need to turn on off of HWY 52 so I'll let someone else tell you (that way you wont get lost hopefully), but once you get on Harristown RD. you just keep driving towards the lights (you will be out in the woods so you should be able to see them once you get out of town). The entrance to the football stadium is off of Harristown Rd, not Gravel Hill (the school is located at the corner of the two, entrance for the school is on Gravel Hill...football stadium is back behind the school off of Harristown). The road that leads into the parking lot is kind of hard to find if you dont know where you are going so once you get close to the lights slow down a bit and the entrance will be on the right. There should be a lot of cars turning at the entrance so hopefully it wont be that hard to find.

which highway are you coming in on? I believe you guys will be coming down 52 from Florence? If so follow 52 through SS. There is only one red light, go through it. You will see a BP station with a bojangles built into it on the right. Be in the left lane, there is a left turn where you cross a railroad track directly in front of that station. You will come to a stop sign after about 100 yards. Turn right (watch your speed! this is a speed trap!) you will drive on this road for about 10 minutes and just when you think you are lost you will see the school on your right. PM me and I will give you my cell in case you get lost. The old joke is drive deep in Francis Marion State Forest until you think you're lost then drive 20 more miles and you're there. Let me know if you are coming from a different road.

How about if I were to come down 95 south.I live in Lamar and it would be shorter for me to cut across to Timmonsville and get on 95 than to go all the way back up 20 to florence.

well then I believe you will be coming from Manning, right? I think that is the shortest route to 95 from SS. You will head from Manning to a little town called Greeleyville, again, a speed trap, be careful. There are signs to direct you from Greeleyville to SS. You are going to come to a four way stop about, oh, 8-10 miles after you leave Greeleyville. This is 52. Turn right at the crossroads and see previous directions.

I'll second that. The sausage dogs are out of this world. Get a sausage dog next time you're there playbyplay. Be careful in Greeleyville also. If you are not at 35 MPH before you see the speed limit sign, you can bet a ticket will be forthcoming. If you want some good bbq, try McCabe's in Manning. When you see the courthouse in Manning on your right, on Hwy 261, take a left on Brooks St. and McCabe's will be about a mile down on the right, immediately past Prothro Chevrolet. Safe travels. BW

Yeah man. No problem. Looking back over the posts, you shouldn't have been included in my rant. I just didn't understand why some Cheraw people were so down on Manning. I know it was just his opinion, but braveguy06 thinks we would be an easy W for anyone left in the playoffs. He picked Marion to beat us in the first round after we had beaten them 41-6 earlier this season. Well, we won 49-0 the second time around and Marion had 67 yards total offense with 33 coming on one play. I think they had less than 250 yards offense in both games. I may not be able to make it to Dillon Friday, and if not I am going to come to Timberland. Would love to meet up with all you guys; playbyplay, BoSkeet, etc. If I am able to get to Dillon, I will keep everyone updated with the score. BW
