I will say this, hats off to Abbeville. They are a great team, with great tradition, and they have absolutely nothing to hang there head about. I have a soft spot for the guys crying on the field after the game, and I know exactly how they feel. We have been there many times, and it never gets any easier, but keep your heads up A-town because I forsee a special season in 2009. The fans really turned out tonight, and as posted earlier, Woodruff could have been cleaned out tonight. During the two games this season, I also got to know the Crunk Squad, and my hat goes off to them as well. I think it's great to have a dedicated group who whole-heartedly supports their school with class as they do. Congrats to both teams, and I'm glad for the win, but another tough task lies in wait. See ya next year, Abbeville

Abbeville did play soft, but did come very aggressively. One of their DB's put a big hit on Bailey on one play and everyone saw it. The very next play, we ran the exact play on the other side and it cost them about a 60 yd reception due to a well timed pump fake.

I think Dureal hit exactly 2000 yards rushing this year during this game. Congrats to a a great game Woodruff. They numbers speak for themselves. Abbeville could'nt execute on big plays that should of been executed and Woodruff did. Woodruff killed us on those long passes as Abbeville always seems to get killed on those the past 3 years. Both sides had a lot of people and it was packed. I still think Lincoln Co. was more packed but that doesn't really matter.

As for both teams, most of us all showed class and for the ones that did I give a thumbs up. Hopefully that defense will get crackin next year because that offense is gonna be killer. But that's a year away, I'm not painting up anymore, and I'm focusing on Baseball and going to college now. So I won't be on here much. Good luck Woodruff, you have a touch week ahead of you.

The biggest crowd at Abbeville this year, and, recent memory, was the Lincoln County game. Close behind were the two games with Woodruff.
