Congrate's to STHS....We dominated this game. We will have to play 10 times harder next week. Central is the best challenge you will have faced up to this point. WOW...is it friday yet...
what a match-up 12-0 -vs- 12-0 Hard hitting -vs- hard hittin Explosive offense -vs- Explosive offense Great coaching -vs- Great coaching A team with class -vs- A team with class Unfortunatly one team will win while the other teams season has come to an end... I wish both teams all the luck in the world. I look forward to a hard hitting smash mouth game. Safe travels to Central's team and fans. LOOK AT THAT BLUE STEEL DEFENSE!!....I heard a rumor that they are beyond fired up after giving up 27 points to Southside....kinda like the week after they gave up 28 to Gilbert, but worse.....could be just a rumor, though??    2009, We Gone Be Just Fine!!! |

2 hours away from kickoff.
This is a prayer for both teams tonight. Let this game bring joy to our father by first giving all honor to God, the creator of all things. Heavenly father, I pray that you watch over these young men tonight. Keep them safe from all hurt, harm, and danger. I pray that this game means more to these young men than winning and losing. I pray that they understand that it is about dedication, determination, and most of all, sacrifice. Our God expects nothing less than our best and when you have done all you can, be thankful for the outcome weather it is in victory or defeat. I pray that they strive for excellence in everything that they do. Unfortunately one team will leave the field tonight sadden because of defeat, while the other team celebrates. Lord teach these young men how to be humble in victory. Lord God I pray that they realize that in you Lord, they are all victorious and after the final whistle is blown, they come together in prayer, thanking you, the creator of all things. In Jesus name I pray this prayer, Amen, thank God, and to God be the glory. "we do our talking on the field" |
