Travis Smalls def had a better overall game than rock did...he had 2 long runs and other than that was basically stuffed...i believe smalls had 13 carries for around 150 yards...

You are wrong, sport. A teams history means a heck of a lot. Cheraw has been the best team in AA over the last few years, give them their due, why don't you.

Rockarius 29 carries for 188 yards 2TD and a win
Smalls 17 carries (I believe thats what i heard on the radio) for 160+ 1 TD (on a 60 yard run)

thats the thing about Rock...you can stuff him all game long (still had about 80 yards other than those two long runs, which isnt bad), but he runs as hard on his last carry of the game as he does the first (if not harder), so u make one mistake against u and he is gonna make u pay (which he did). plus he had a reception for around 15 yards or so (and a better throw and he would have been gone on that one too).

you take away Travis's long run and we hold him under 100 yards. I don't think you watched the same game I did. Rock gets nearly 200 yards and the win. I know you are dissapointed but you are really disgracing yourself and Cheraw by acting this way. take the high road dude.

Hey "brave4ever"..or " _hit4brains"...Rock had 188 yards with just one more carry so how do you figure Travis had the better nite. Besides...the only thing that matters is that the Wolves,(as a team) had a better nite than the Braves...that's why we're 13-0 and moving on...deal with it!!!.......

Just to add a little bit to this thread...First off, great win Timberland. 2nd, this was STHS rebuilding year, so this isn't the last you will see of STHS in 2A football. We (STHS) lost a very tuff game last night to Central, but we took our loss gracefully. We made no excuse. I said it in a few of my post that if Cheraw lose, they wouldn't man up and eat crow for all the junk they talked all year about Timberland not playing anyone. I also said they would make it to Timberlands list of nobodies they played....Our seasons are over and I can't wait until next year gets here....Cheraw will always be a strong team in what ever level they play at, but it is a few new kids on the block and it isn't going to be easy for anyone to win state in 2A anymore. 2A is the best football in the state and it will be for a long time....

very well said WDOTOTF.....the addition of strom and timberland this year and dillon and manning a few years ago has made a strong 2A even stronger, i personally was stoked about the move down from 3A, lot more tradition and competition at the 2A level!
