Sure it is. But based on how Woodruff was moving the ball at will on the Abbeville defense, it was put away. Even the announcers on the radio could see the Panthers hanging their heads. All new offensive scheme. We run exactly what Byrnes runs. And we have the talent both on the field and on the sidelines.

So West is all about 3 yds and a cloud of dust. I came to the Wolverines at Broome and I have called the team Byrnes Light since that game.
We have so much talent at SHS but it was not used properly by the OC.

Obviously, the new scheme has a lot to do with it, but the offense towards the end of last season was starting to jell and was pretty potent. Now some key players have another year of experience and have really taken to the scheme that Coach Lane brought with him. The transfer of Bailey from Brynes couldn't have came at a better time either.

Woodruff is going straight to state

What did you guys think about his scheme? By the Byrnes playoff game I could call the plays about 60% of the time,so there is no wonder DC of other teams would tee off on us. There was so much of a buzz when Freedie was hired, then the play calling looked like the previous coach was in the press box. The SHS fans are pitiful though and they never showed up. Fair weather fans are not fans to me. Sorry to talk so much about 4-a on this board, but I am just curious about West and IMPRESSED with the WOLVERINES.

Thanks Smoke. I hope you are correct. Central will be another big challenge next week, but I still feel that if we don't turn the ball over and have drive stopping penalties that we can score on anyone out there. If our defense can just slow the other team, like they did Abbeville tonight, we will be okay.

Woodruff has the heart and the talent to go all the way.All they have to do is focus and they can bring the championship back to Region 2.
