I know that it is really far away and ANYTHING can happen but if you live in Chesterfield County then you want to see A Cheraw VS Central state title game. But getting to the point Rnd 3 of the playoffs could be a very very exciting night for 2a with a chance of two chesterfield County teams taking on 2 teams who just came down from 3a. Cheraw vs Timberland and Central vs S-T. That could be by far the best and biggest week in 2a football that we have had in a long time. Once again there are alot of great teams and anything at all can happen just throwing this out there.

If it all plays out that way,...those would be two huge games.

my prediction for upperstate is
Abbeville Vs. Woodruff

Central VS. Str. Thur.

Either Game is great.

Plus Woodruff says they have something to settle with Abbeville. But Abbeville is willing to participate in the challenge. Smiler

I know all the teams respect each other and sportsmanship will not have any worries these games.

As for lower state I don't know how the brackets are to be honest but I'd like to see a Timberland Vs. Cheraw
Silverbuff Vs. Dillion

But like I said, I don't know how the bracket will work.

I still say you guys are showing a very, very good Manning team no respect. They are my dark horse pick in the lower state. They have dealt with significant injuries this year and are finally healthy. Coach Briggs told me before our game he had all his players back, although a few were not quite 100% as of yet. This is a big, physical team. Well coached.

Only way cheraw or timberland could see manning is if they win all playoff games and we had to meet in lowerstate. They still have silver bluff and Dillon to get threw.

Not many teams are going to want and line up against Timberland. I promise you that.

This is how it looks now without any major upsets.

Barnwell/Silver Bluff winner vs Ashley Ridge
Dillon/Cheraw loser vs Hanahan

Woodland vs Edisto/Hampton/Ridgeland/Pelion
Manning vs Marion

Timberland vs Mullins/Aynor/Loris
Bishop England vs Edisto/Hampton/Ridgeland

Dillon/Cheraw winner vs Waccamaw/Kingstree
Barnwell/Silver Bluff loser vs Burke

You can start to feel the playoffs in the air! Cooler weather and football goes great together. Can't wait to see how some of these matchups unfold!

assuming Cheraw beats Dillon this week, Hanahan Dillon first round would be an awesome football game. I don't know much about region 5. I don't think region 6 will be a serious contender. Bishop England is fiesty and well coached but not very big. How does Silver Bluff and Barnwell look? Anybody got a scouting report?

Both Silver Bluff and Barnwell have solid teams that will contend for state title. Silver Bluff has a defense out of this world and the Lower state will see how explosive Barnwell can be on both sides of the ball. Silver Bluff has some backs that can make things happen. I think there O-line has gotten a lot better so please don't under estimate these guys. Both teams are for real

Assuming Cheraw beats Dillon, Manning will meet the winner of Dillon-Silver Bluff in the third round, if we take care of business in the first two rounds. We will not have to face both Dillon and Silver Bluff. Manning will have Marion again in round one, and probably Bishop England in round two. BW

we say we're not going to look ahead but we can't stand it can we.? MY picks for the final four in the lower state are Manning vs Silver Bluff and Timberland vs Cheraw. Barring any major upsets.
