Thanks for a real decent and factual post. I believe we will see some upgrades soon. As for Woodruff's stadium, I've always enjoyed our trips there, I have stated more than once, there is an outstanding view of the field from the visitors side, one of the most enjoyable I've been to.

How is Abbeville too much for Woodruff? You must just be some banwagon that always roots for the undefeated team. Woodruff had more than 130 total yards of offense than Abbeville the first time we played. I dont see how that means they are too much for us. They obviously couldnt stop our offense. 2 fake punts is what killed us. It wont happen this time. Wolverines win by 14.

If it had not been 2 fake punts....it would have been the ref's bad calls.....or some other lame excuse.....but the bottom line was Abbeville cut Woodruff's butt.....and they going to do it again Friday night.....the Wolverine's season ends this week......
Beaudiddley you might just be eating some crow come Friday night. There is no way you can predict it will be the wolverines last week. Anything is possiable at any given time. Abbeville might just get a butt whopping this week. GO WOLVES!!!

I don't care how much junk either team's fans talk...I know something you all can't win in...

Is having the best Steak on friday night. Want a smell? Come by the tailgating tent on friday. Wink

Anyays enough with that nonsense.

Running attack Vs. Passing attack (for the most part)

Lots of points, hard hitting, and knockouts is what I want to see friday. Those guys are practicing harder than any team they played this week...:P even though I know they're knocked out of the playoffs......man I'm delirious...I don't know why I'm posting this crap right now.

So am I. I met Crunk and the crunksquad before the first Abbeville game, and they are a very spirited group with great sportsmanship. They represent Abbeville well.

Atowncrunk And wolverinelegend, here is my prediction for your game....

after looking back on the first game between the 2 teams, it looked as if Atown won the game on the score board, but Woodruff won on the stat sheets. Now I know the only thing that matters at the end is the score board, but that is only true when you play a team once that year. It is extremely hard to accept a defeat when you look at the stats and you won the battle on the field. The edge goes to the loosing team to me.....With that said, a great team finds a way to win the close games. It's not like the stats were lopsided or a total domination by Woodruff. So, I predict it to be one hell of a game between 2 great programs that should be proud of their kids to make this game happen. Both teams wanted it, that tells me that you are not scared to play the top comp. Both teams are battle tested and have improved since the last meeting. The winner will be the team who makes the fewest mistakes.....How is that for being politically correct...lol.... Good luck to both teams. We are all victorious in Christ Jesus.

This will be an awesome game. We played both teams recently. Both are great teams and I feel that this game is the upperstate championship game. No disrespect to ST. I believe that Woodruff will pull it out in the end. Woodruff is more of a balanced team with their running and passing attack and both teams play great defense. I am pulling for Woodruff to go all the way but I agree that this game will go to the team with the least mistakes. Go Wolves

I couldn't have said it any better. If both teams play hard, then the end result, whatever it may be, will take care of itself. I pray for both teams to have a hard faught, injury free, and sportsmanlike game, and may the best team win Friday.

AHS, I know who Woodruff plays, what I am saying is the Woodruff-Abbevillegame has the two best teams in the upstate. I do not mean to disrespect ST. They are a great program but I feel that AHS and WHS are better than STHS

We played yall last week and played Woodruff the week before. We have not played BL! Where did you get BL from????
I guess it must be the difference in the quality of education between Spartanburg county and Abbeville county. Just kidding

The first game between Abbeville and Woodruff was probably one of the most evenly matched games i have ever seen. I think that one team will get beat worse than everyone thinks, but im not sure which team that is yet. Earlier in the year, i heard about some great players from Woodruff that were hurt, and didnt play against abbeville. I believe one may have been a Defensive End, is this true? Are there any players that didnt play in the first game that could make a difference? Just something i heard through the grape vine and wanted to clarify. Good Luck Panthers!!!
