You better believe it. I think Central has the better team in this game but if they take Pendleton litely they could be in for an upset. But i really dont see that happening b/c Central has a great coaching staff. We in Abbeville know this very well. We have a little history together.

You are right Pantherpride94. We have a lot of history against each other. My favorite playoff games have always been when we have played yall. Most of our games have been classic's that came down to the very end. One thing I can say about Central is they don't take any team lightly. Especially come playoff time. We have been in to many playoff games with the same coaching staff to take any team lightly. After the first round, there aren't any bad teams left.

Yeah u guys have had our # in the past up until the last time we played yall when we finally won. I thought we have had the better team in a lot of those games but we just got out coached to be honest. So I have to give it up to ur coaching staff and ur program theyre really good.

I think the only time you had a better team than us was in 1998 and 2000. The other times we were in my opinion a little better physically and in the skilled players area. You guys have always had a great coaching staff as well. Either way I really respect Abbeville and their program and wish you the best of luck this year.

The Eagles have a DE/TE Justice Cunningham #21 who has committed to USC. The other DE #19 is only a Junior. There are several colleges looking at other Eagle players but so far only Justice has been offered a scholarship.

Pendleton will hang in there for the first 2 quarters, but after halftime will be tired of getting hit...

Pendleton-13
Central-34

Good luck to both teams!!!

Im pretty sure that if you look up central, it means "situated at, in or near the center", just to let you kno, might wanna check over that 3rd grade notebook.

other than cunninghams speed, he doesnt really look like much of a threat weightroom wise 250 bench, 385 squat. i think that pendleton 0-line will give him some problems.

Cunningham doesnt have to be that strong to out play any O-line. Him and our other DE Funderburk can tire out the O-line and find ways to get to the ball carrier. We also have a couple of good DT too. And to tell you the truth, Justice isnt really THAT fast if you compare him to our RB or other WRs. He's just a solid all around athlete.

That sounds about right. I would add 1994, the 7-2 game, I think Abbeville was better, and, should have won that one. 1990 and 1997 were 6 and 7 point games, went right to the wire, both won by Central, I think you were a little better those years. The 1998 29-28 game still sticks in my craw. Abbeville was destined for the AA title that year, fell behing 21-0 right off the bat, came back to lead 28-21 late, Central hit a long pass, made the 2 pt conversion and won. That 2 pt attempt took some guts, that's for sure. Still can't believe you guys lost to Emerald the next week. I always suspected Central just came out flat that next week. The Central team we saw would have whipped Emerald. We had just beat Emerald 38-10 a few weeks before, and, we called the dogs off early in that one.

That's why I never judge a team by the margin of victory another team beat them by. A lot people feel like because we beat team A and team A beat team B, We should beat team B as well. It is all about match-ups. Central probably thought that Emerald was just gonna come out and give them the game. During the playoffs, you can't afford any mental let downs or it will be basketball season.
