this is not a strength meet, you have to play as a team not as individuals. i know lots of guys that are really strong that can't run or jump nearly as good as weaker fellas. games like these are won with your heart not your biceps.

Custom1600 you are right it is won with heart. Cheraws def. will be ready they are fast and smart. Cheraw off is just as good as Timberland maybe not big on the line but we do not need to be bigger on the line but when we spread the field we will move the ball. And lets face it we have played a much tougher non conference than Timberland and we are the back to back state champs and 4 years in a row the lower state champion and we are coming to St Stephens Friday night to keep on going to the big house. Timberland do not get scared now!!!!!!!!!!!

I only remember them having one good drive as far as moving the ball down the field. Face it bruh Dillon has and always has had a TOUGH defense.(Even if the offense may need some work but they seem to be coming around.) Being a Timberland fan you should know that. We didn't get 21 points scored on us. We weren't down 21-0. I was there. The defense dominated the WHOLE game. I mean we had 4 or 5 ints for goodness sake. And you can't pin everything on Hanahan's mistakes but our Defensive backs just played well. Wouldn't a Dillon-Timberland matchup be fun? It would be like we were still in 3A.
I was saying that Hanahan put 21 up on us when we played them. I was worried. As far as a Dillon/Timberland matchup, I would love to see that. It would be deja vu all over again. Back to those 3A battles from a few years back. What I was talking about with Hanahan versus Dillon was that there were two interceptions that were returned for over 70 yards if I read it right. That would mean that they were deep in your territory. Good luck Friday night. Manning has a shifty qb so look out.

ust a little FYI. Timberland did win the state championship in the strength meet. What a lot of people do not know is that it is not just weightlifting. There is the bench, squat, 40 yard dash, vertical leap and so forth. Just to let you know, Timberland tailback and 2A state back of the year, Rock King, took home the state title in 190 pound class. Benched over 300, squated over 500, ran the forty in 4.35, and I do not know about the vertical. Think that strength and conditioning is not Timberlands strong point. How many of you remember the movie Rocky 3 when Balboa fought Mr. T? Several rounds into the fight Mr. T was wailing on Balboa and then told Balboa that he was beating his tail. Balboa replied, at least I'm not breathing hard. When you look out there and your guys are breathing hard, you might want to think back to how conditioning is not a big deal. Man I am getting so anxious to see this. Also, Timberland fans are not the only ones talking trash. Our coaches can print these posts and add them to their bulletin boards as well for motivation. There will probably be 40 more posts on this thing by tomorrow afternoon so I will check back then to see what is going on.
