Why did Cheraw leave the first string in all nite? Was that very smart? One of those guys could have got hurt....the game was out of reach 38-0......with 4.50 left in game.....

My guess would be to get as ready for Timberland as we can be. Make sure them boys can handle 4 quarters cause thats what its gonna be. I dont think we can walk in and beat yall easy. Do I think Cheraw will win. You bet I do. Do I think Timberland can beat Cheraw. I know they can. Cheraw is the underdog in this one and I love it. I will make the trip and I hope it will be worth it.

to me this game will come down to T-land's execution. If they can execute and not make stupid mistakes they will win...if not they wont. No offense to Cheraw, but I think the only team in the state this yea that will be able to stop Timberland is Timberland. Cheraw has a lot of talent, that is without a doubt, but I think the boys from Timberland are on a mission this season, a mission that I hope they finish in December up in Dead Valley. It will be a tough, very physical, and close football game.

I hope the players have that mindset. Your making it sound like the only way Timberland can lose is if timberland makes mistakes. You act like a better team cant come in and beat you. You have not played ONE team this year that will play you like Cheraw will play you. The 3 loses we do have doesnt hurt my feelings at all. MC in 3rd rnd. Central in 3rd Rnd and Chesterfield playing for upper state. Think that a team cant come in and beat you. And you might be in for a bad night.

Keep thinking Cheraw has no offense. I do think defenses wins Championships and ours is one of the best. Keep an eye on Sammie Merriman, that is Shawne Merriman's cousin from San Diego Chargers.

Yea but every coach takes chances. I rather go in knowing my players can go 4 quaters and not run out of gas than to go in and run out of gas and let that be the reason we lost.

Hey...... I hate to burst your bubble "braveguy06"...but yes we have. I saw the game tonite and you guys don't want to play Manning. Cheraw has some big guys but to be honest with you...Barnwell was weak....very weak. They would have finished 4th or 5th in our region. Waccamaw could have taken them to the "cleaners" easy enough........

you are taking what I said in a way that I didnt mean it. Do I think Timberland is the better team, yes (but then again what kind of fan would I be if I didnt). my point is, a lot of the kids on this team were on the field two years ago when Timberland lost to Blythewood on a last second field goal, even more were on the sidelines when everyone expected them to be back in Columbia in December however things just didnt work out that way...I think this team is on a mission to avenge the way the last two seasons ended. I think Timberland has the talent to beat anyone in the state (with the exception of some of the huge AAAA schools), not that Im saying they are the most talented team in the state Im just saying they have the talent to beat just about anyone, as long as they execute properly. If Cheraw wins Friday night then they were the better team, plain and simple, they will still be playing and Timberland wont...but I still have a gut feeling that Timberland will come away with this one.
