I certainly watched Hunter Smith on the gridiron and on the hardcourt (where he got a little p.t.). I understand Smith was also quite a student at Pinewood. I am pretty sure he was named Pinewood Scholar-Athlete of the year for '06 (I believe Miles Reeves won that award in '07 and Ryan Steed in '08). Some of Pinewood's best football players have also been pretty stellar in the classroom.

Yes, quite an amazing guy. Made the North/South team his senior year I believe. Play all three sports and very smart. I had met him at Wofford when I asked. First person I ever met from Pinewood Prep personally. He just became my "Big Brother" in Pi Kappa Alpha last week though. Incredible guy. If these are the types of people that are coming out of Pinewood Prep. Then I would only hope my son could attend such a classy, yet prestigious school.
