Following another Indian defensive stop and a drive from the offense, the Lions come up with a big interception in the endzone and take over at the 4 as we have moved into the 4th quarter.

I have to ask...Why wouldn't OP go for two..when they were down 26-28??? Now, with that long TD by Augusta Christian, it's over..

Good question. I dunno; with as much time as was left I can kinda see not going for the two at that point, but then again in HS football I think you go for it as well.

OP kills themselves with a fumble and AC runs it back to the 45-yard line..Have to hate it for OP..They had so many chances to win..

Put this one on ice as Banks scores again. He'll have a huge year. If the Indians can play defense like they did for most of the second half, they could have a pretty good year. And of course the untimely and tremendously costly turnovers have to be cut out. A great effort none the less by OP.

Steelerfreak, what kind of team does Heyward have this year? What type of O/D are they running and who are their key players?

Pretty good kickoff to the SCISA football season... Some tough breaks for the Indians, but with their coaching staff, they will get through it. Banks is a player for ACS! schighschoolfan, do you have his totals for the night? must've been solid.

SC..I don't live in that area anymore..I spoke with a friend down that way last night during the game..Says that they will hold their own but they are young..They are running the same stuff as always..Should be a decent game but I think OP will outman them in the end..Numbers are down at THA this year...Never count those boys out though, they are tough..
