ksufreak, you are wasting your time and energy bashing another institution. If you don't have anything constructive why don't you leave well enough alone.

Ksu i am not trying to start an argument with you bt many years ago LMA beat HHP for a football state championship and in more recent years when HHP played AAA football they were in the region with LMA and LMA always beat them actually I do not think LMA has ever lost to HHP in football. As for other sports I think I remembr LMA out dueling both HHP and Porter Gaud for the 2004 or 2005 golf state championship. Now you are correct LMA cannot beat HHP in basketball the girls played as well as hey could last year in the playoffs and HHP most likely played as bad as they could and still th lady cats could not get the job done.

I believe 2005 (last year played at Fripp Island) was the year of the swampcats' state championship in golf.

psb42, as I said before to ksufreak, if you don't have anything constructive to say then just keep it to yourself. You waste yours, mine, and everyone elses time forcing us to read nonsense.

LMA lost to ACS 13-9 in a game that was much closer than anyone expected. Cats face their second real test of the season his friday against op in a game that could also be closer than most expect.

LMA could have easily won the game. They ran the ball very effectively and dominated the line of scrimmage. Turnovers and lack of runnung number 22 more cost them the game.

Donovan McNabb was quoted this summer saying "We would've gone undefeated last year if we hadn't lost 9 games."

i must weigh in on the discussion regarding LMA. As a long ago player and now parent of ACS athlete i will tell you this. LMA whipped ACS on BOTH SIDES of the line. They are extremely well coached and have several good players. Their fans are loyal and were very respectful of our fans. i greatly enjoyed our visit. This really was one of those games where the better team (that night) lost. The reason was one William Banks #11 an extremely gifted athlete (won the SCSIA state 200 meter dash last spring on a torn miniscus = sp? in his knee) He is a game changer and if he had just ADEQUATE (average) blocking would literally run and pass against nearly any team at will. this kid is worth going to an ACS game just to see him. (the win against OPS would have never been possible without mr banks - ask OPS coach if u can get a straight answer out of him) Without Banks ACS is 1-4 My son (along with the entire team) looks up to him because of his leadership and Christian character. Back to the the subject LMA played with a very well executed offense and rammed the ball down our throat - nearly at will. If they continue to play that way they will win their share of games but i dont think anyone is going to beat hammond....

Maybe Hammond will beat themselves as it appears LMA did last week. Turnovers and not necessarily talent can dictate who wins and loses. Hammond certainly appears to be the team to beat.

LMA lack of skill players will keep them from being in the playoffs. They are strong up front on both sides of the ball. The only player they have that ressembles a running back is the Johnson kid.OP will win big.ACS is not the ACS of old.
