Don't worry about ksufreak. He's still smarting from the pasting they got from a mid level AAA team last week. Probably the same thing LMA would do to them.

Coach Kellahan is a fine football coach and a super human being. He has a coaching staff that cares about kids and will do anything they can to find a way to help their kids compete. They are one of the few SCISA programs that does things the right way win or lose

So recruiting is the right way to run a program now?

I didn't post this to listen to any philosophical gripes. I was merely curious as to how their season is progressing so far. If bringing them up has ruffled any feathers then I apologize.

No offense taken but for the recruiting angle I would venture to say that the kids that appear at LMA from other public schools are mostly disgruntled with playing time or a personality conflict with a coach. That in my opinion is not recruiting. What I call recruiting is when a coach or a booster goes into a gym dueing the summer and makes verbal contact with an athlete. That is what I call recruiting. Back to my point, I was simply stating that I think Coach K and his staff do a good job with kids regardless of their record.

CSU to answer your question the swampcats are 2-0 on the young season. Beat WA 33-0 and Pee Dee 21-6. They have not really played any great competition at least at their level yet. THat is not meant as a slight towards PD or WA but LMA should beat both of them easily. The cats play rel this week so may not be tested again but I have seen that the cavs seem much improved and seem to be able to score some points.

REL Cavs and whiplash you guys need to explain your comments about the LMA football program and the recruiting.

I'm not smarting at all. Ben Lippen is very good and I am in no way associated with HHP football. I watch as many other SCISA schools as I do HHP during the football season.

I will tell you that any team in AAA that sleeps on Ben Lippen will regret it immensely. They are big, fast and well coached.

I predict that Ben Lippen will finish second to Hammond in that region. I also predict that Laurence Manning is a bottom tier AAA football team.

By the way, Laurence Manning has never beaten HHP at anything else, so why would football be any different?

They can't win at Basketball (boys or girls), they even lost in the playoffs to HHP in baseball (which is suppose to be their best sport).
