Seriously..who does Prep play this year in SCISA that can play them close? Maybe there are a few 3A schools that can keep it close but that just means them sitting in a zone and prep holding the ball bc THEY KNOW they will win. Alot of talk about Heathwood girls this year...not sure any other team out there can knock them off. Looks like the scisa streak will be over 75 at years end.
Heathwood Hall will be very good. Kristen Dickerson is a flat out scorer that might have some of that cut down this year because she will have to be the primary ballhandler all year long. Ariel Brandner is the best post player in SCISA. They make a great inside-outside combination.

Do you really believe he has always had the best talent at HHP? Last year's Heathwood Hall team was infinitely more talented that Prep's team was. There were three players on that team that are legitimate college players at some level in Dickerson, Brandner and Dozier who will be the most highly recruited kid in her class. Prep had one player that any kind of college interest. HHP won last year's state title with 5 white girls that stood between 5'3" and 5'9". Maybe the reason they have always had talent is that they develop it better than everybody else. None of HHP's teams were nearly as talented as the Northwood teams of the early 2000's, they were just better coached.

Talley (Varsity boys) and Rector (Varsity girls), both at Wilson Hall.

I agree with bigdaddy. WH has been blessed with some great coaches and when they added Rector a few years ago they got even better. Both those coaches do things the right way. Rector had some of the best basketball teams around in the 90's while at Florence Christian. He has won everywhere he's been. I know he went over 500 wins a year or to ago and he has to be around double digits for State Titles. Talley has a Championship as well but there arent many coaches that are respected as much as these two.

I agree that Wilson Hall is blessed with great coaches.
Glen Rector has proven himself everywhere he has been and could be one of the classiest gentleman in all of SCISA.
Coach Talley continually gets more out of his players than just anybody on the boys side. He never has spectacular talent, just great teams.

And Ryan Moloney (Laurens Academy by way of Richard Winn by way of PC College) is well above average, even though he married a Wildcat.
