i agree with upstate on the whole ksu thing. ksu gives a lot of good information that only ksu provides, so quit hating, because a lot of people appreciate ksu on here.

also, there was a bunch of hype on here about sjca last year? and where were they during the state tourny? im not sure if i just missed them or not. but why so much better this year? if they really are gonna be as good as they say they will be, more power to them.

You better worry about Bible Baptist this afternoon. They are by far the best team you will have played this year. And then you had better worry about staying healthy against St. Andrews next week because they are even better than Bible Baptist.

I really do appreciate all of the kind words by all of the posters that went to bat for me in this thread.

All I try to do is give out as much verified information as I can find.

I do my own polls which are nothing but my own opinion. But I work very hard to come up with the information with which I base those polls on.

SJ fans you brought this on yourself...2 years ago all you heard on here was how Dan Donaldson was going to take yall to the promise land and dominate SCISA then you got jack hammered by SCA.

Last year all everyone heard is how the new young players were going to take you deep in the playoffs and yall didn't even make it!

Whoop Whoop, let's take it easy here. A messgge board is meant for team support. It's not quotes from the newspaper or tv. When things are typed it can be translated in numerous ways because you can't tell the tone.

I commend sjca on their loyal team support and enjoy reading their post. This board should be a fun thing and I have the most admiration for how the represent themselves on here. Think about it, they pull for their school bigtime and aren't afraid to compliment their school or players. That's how it should be, with that being said, I have never seen them take a jab or negaitive comment about another school. I've been to many schools and sjca has as much class as any I have seen and please note I am not one of their fans.

A few comments about the incident Whoop Whoop refers to with Donelson. Donelson was at the time a Sophomore. What was left out of the account was the fact that the young man had just witnessed (as everyone did) a woman from the HHA stands beat Coach High of SJCA in the back. Donelson was upset and acting out. Donelson was reprimanded by the coach and punished by St. John's and his parents. He even wrote an apology letter to HHA. On the other end, in no way shape or form was an apology ever offered to Coach High by the woman in the HHA stands. That being said, lets learn from it and move on. Donelson today is a Sophomore at Newberry College and playing on their basketball team. He is a success story..a life turned in the right direction because of the guidance of his family and school.

Whoop Whoop - I wish you the best and hope that you can remember that we are all human and fail sometimes. We all have our methods of trying to aid and assist young people. Please feel free to visit our school, come to a game, share some food at the concession stand and spend some time. Your opinion may change.

As for the comments about KSU. I personally have no issue with KSU and enjoy his polls, etc.
I, too, will occasionally give a poll idea. I admit that I am quite biased. However, if you look at my pre-season poll this year, SJCA is not in it. We have a lot of work to do. KSU,

Our school family enjoys rivalry. Sometimes comments are made that may sound negative over a message board. Please know that in no way would anyone from SJCA be meaning to even hurt the feelings of anyone.
