While all this is true, the problem comes when some schools offer financial aid to the kids choosing athletics and not to the kid choosing chorus. Now with that said, no one here can solve it so lets talk about the game. What are the key factors and who are the key players,, scores and predictions please.

I've got CP big in this one. Brown is definitely the key factor tho. CP flies around the field and will shut down Pringle as they did in their last meeting. However, Brown wasn't present. Colleton Prep's O line and D line are second to none in this game. They'll establish a running game and put up the numbers. If they can stop Brown from catching jump balls and WR Reverse's, it'll be over quick. CP is way more physical. I think CCS will lay down about halftime when it's about 21-7. Final score 34-14 Colleton Prep.

Cpa much like WA is physical and flies around. But I don't expect CCS to quit if they get down. WWK had CCS on the rope and with there speed it doesn't take much to get back in the game. This could be a barn burner!! with lots of points going on the board if CCS comes to play. Cpa 41-CCS-34

I see much more of a CPA smashmouth game. Hard to score a lot of points when you run the ball so much. They'll hog the ball and the points. If they don't turn it over, they'll score every possession. CCS blitz's randomly, if your linemen block down you run off tackle and outside all day, plus all that blitzing will help set up the trap.

Are there actually any SCISA schools out there that meet that description? If so, then they are in violation of SCISA rules. A school cannot offer an student athlete anything not available to the student body at large. Most SCISA schools that offer financial aid are also NAIS-accredited schools and having in place a widely-available financial aid program is practically required for NAIS accreditation. Charleston Collegiate, Pinewood, Porter-Gaud, Heathwood, Hammond, and Hilton Head Prep are all NAIS schools and have financial aid programs that are available to any student who can demonstrate a need. I am not aware of any SCISA schools that offer financial aid only to athletes though I read a lot of accusations on here flying toward the upper Pee Dee region of the state.

Now when CPA and CCS met for the first time brown was out. He is a key factor to the passing game. Pringle can run the ball against CPA as he did having about 200 yards in their first meet. All along the way everybody has preidcted wrong. They said WA over CPA and they said WWK over CCS. So then why would this be anydifferent. I think CCS is going to play harder then most thik seing as how this is tehir only shot at state. When you start 9 seniors then your teams is going to want ti rpetty bad. Next year is what they have to worry about after this. They lose 10 to seniors leaving and if some of the players dont want to play that just hurts them even more. Overall i think it'll be a close game but i go with CCS-48 CPA-42

Still don't see a high scoring game. CPA upsetting WA and CCS upsetting WWK aren't big surprises. CPA & WA are both small, fast, disciplined, and physical teams. It's pretty much a toss-up game. WWK & CCS are both compiled of defenses that blitz randomly and have undisciplined defensives. WWK can't defend the pass or screen. I probably would've given the edge to CCS in that game. WWK beat CP b/c CP blew it with 7 turnovers. If those teams play 100 times. I give it to CP to take 98 of them. Plus WWK barely scraped pass CCS before without Terrell Brown. As far as the CP & CCS game goes. CCS is a great story of a turn around program, but the road will probably end here. Whether Pringle had 200 yards or not. They only put up 14 points last time. CP will score everytime they touch the ball. Score very slowly. Hog the ball and the clock. The only chance CCS has is if CP turns it over a lot and it becomes a shootout.

Not true. Pringle ran for 110 yards on 14 carries against Colleton Prep in the first meeting. That stat is a little deceiving however. The majority of those yards came on an 86-yard touchdown run that stemmed from a busted play. CCS ran a dive play, and Pringle was stuffed. He somehow got loose with the majority of the defense already converging on the pile, broke around the end and was gone. Don't know how he did it, and it was a good run, but CPA shut him down otherwise. They'll do it again, too.
I'm not easily impressed.

Well CRitic you may not be so easily impressed by Pringles running. But he is a good all around runner. He can break them up the middle or around the end. As he has proved against other teams. And no only 12 points were put up by CCS because they had 2 missed extra points. They gave CP 2 touchdowns that could have easily been stopped but the defense just gave up. You take those away that puts the game at 14-12. That close of a game without brown even touching the field.

Difference b/t CP & CCS. Colleton won't ever give up. They've been in games with solid AA and AAA teams all year. CCS played a bunch of nobodies and lost to 3 good teams in A. If they played CP's schedule. They'd be about 2-9 again.

I would like to say that these 20 boys has worked very hard this year to get to the BIG DANCE! With the sure arm of QB Andrew Horne & the always sure handed Terrell Brown plus the SPEED of Eric Pringle we will be alright!! GO CCS FIGHT WIN STATE!

xStallion you've got to be kidding. CCS played everyone they should have played. Colleton Prep arranged that schedule for their own reasons. Of course now it's a mute point since CCS added CPA to that so called bunch of nobodies. (CPA certainly doesn't get that designation from me nor do any of the other teams CCS played during the regular season. Nothings been a gimmie and I haven't seen a single team that didn't give all they had)

Laurel , for your info SCISA sets the schedule, not each school. You'll find that out next year now that you have such an awsome program. Bet next year you return to 2-9

CPA most likely should have been an AA school this year and CCS beat them. Luck, no luck, whatever, SCISA sets the schedule based on what they think the team can handle. CCS went 11-3. That included beating everyone in their class at least once except Williamsburg. Its amazing to me that they get no respect for the accomplishment. They take a kid and turn his life around through a huge academic commitment and you question the standards. They're doing it with high standards. When CPA does the same, with the same accreditations and expectations then your argument will look like something more than sour grapes.
