King Academy is having one on the 13th. Laurens will participate, but I don't know anyone else or times yet.

Tuesday is suppose to be the first day teams are allowed to scrimmage. Flornce Christian is having a four team scrimmage with Holly Hill, Pee Dee, and Dillon Christian on Tuesday around 6pm.

Cavfan - Welcome back and 2cents, they can scrimmage Monday as long as the have three days of hitting. So if a team hits Friday, Saturday and Sunday at practice, they can scrimmage Monday. Not sure what coach is gonna take his team to rpactice on Sunday though. Our program isn't

We won't, in fact our board of directors would perfer that we not play or practice on wednesday if it would run over into the traditional church time.

I hear you wesley, we can't have the kids at all after 4:30 on Wednesday because it can interfere with the Fuel youth group services. While it is a bit of a preparation bother for a coach to lose most of a practice day - it does keep in perspective why we coach and why we have a program.

Fan, you are correct about being able to scrimmage on Monday provided they practiced on Sunday. I just thought that most teams would not use Sunday as a day to practice. Dillon Christian will also scrimmage Robert E. Lee on Wednesday and play Red Springs,a North Carolina public school, in Lake View's Jamboree on Friday the 15th.

Yes, did LMA look like a college team. I often get confused whether we're playing Clemson or LMA when they take the field seeing as how great they are.

Laurens, King and Richard Winn scrimmaged on the 13th. Maybe because they are all in the same conference, everyone kept it pretty basic and didn't really reveal much about their offenses. All 3 had about the same number of players ( 25-28 or so ), and were about the same size.
Wasn't much scoring, I believe L.A. scored once on KA and RW and held them scoreless, and KA scored on RW and held them scoreless

Yesterday Laurens scrimmaged Southside Christian in Greenville. This is a school 3 times our size and they dressed out 40 players ( with several more who were hurt ). SC was able to drive the ball between the 20's pretty efectively but LA was able to keep them out of the end zone. We had one nice drive where we scored but missed the conversion, so we won 6-0.

So on offense: Dodds, Parker, Whitner, and Stanton Sekinger looked good. Porter-Gaud's D:Burris and Hyman kept both teams out of the endzone. PG lookin strong.
