I think Thomas Sumter might drop some. Northwoods should be well improved. Colleton Prep will make some noise, they were very young in A last year. Dorchester moved up but is still very young. St. Andrews should be competitive this year. Hilton Head teams are always competitive.
Just a little opinion based on what I knew at the end of last year and what teams I can think of off the top of my head.
what yall think about the teams moving up from 8-man auch as kings academy, florence christian... so on and so forth? what's the insider on these two schools especially cause those schools that i keep up with the most?
i don't disagree that the hilton head teams will be strong as well as colleton and calhoun, but dont forget about thomas heyward, defending conference champs.
Sorry THA grad, I just stated the teams that came off the top of my head. I'm a Williamsburg kid, so I don't know all of AA teams right off the bat. But you're correct. Thomas Heyward and Calhoun are both always competitive. I think AA is put together very well is almost a coin toss every year. Robert E. Lee should improve a little as well but still be very uncompetitive.
1.) HH Prep 2.) Northwood 3.) Thomas Heyward 4.) HHCA 5.) St. Andrews 6.) First Baptist
HHP will miss Herman, but are still pretty loaded everywhere else. Heard rumors Northwood has picked up a few players over the summer....anyone know any more? Thomas Heyward is always tough as nails, but I really think they will miss Lane and Baker more than they think. HHCA has had some fallout. A handful of kids they were really counting on have decided not to play....will still be a tough out however as Coach Lewis will have them ready to play. St. Andrews will be much improved/competitive, but I still feel the other four are deeper.
Saw Northwood play bball this summer. They looked like they had a few new kids, but none were outstanding. Their best player was the running back from last year, i think. Definitely not the same type of kids PW got in.

First Baptist proudpop you have to be a HHP fan to put them #1 this year, after prep got stunned last year by a 4-6 St. Andrew's and you lost some valuble players. You did not even put Colleton in your region rankings. 1. Colleton Prep (lost no one and another year older) 2. Northwood (explosive, ask THA) 3. St. Andrew's(lost no one and senior loaded) 4. Hilton Head Prep (we will see who transfers in) 5. Hilton Head Christian (Headed for some rough times, could be th last gasp) 6. First Baptist(That qb is a man) 7. Thomas Heyward(lost 2 very good backs and many seniors having problems)

Truth, I think you hit the nail on the head for the top two spots in the region, but after that I really think its a toss up. I don't see St. Andrews being a threat. THA will definately miss Baker in the backfield, but they have their fullback coming back and a good young QB in the Malphrus kid. HHP and HHC will both depend on who they can bring in from the public schools in the area or Savannah. First Baptist will never do anything, I don't care how much talent they have, as long as they have the same coach.
Can't believe I left out Colleton Prep. Yes they will be very tough this year.....they always are. I'm pretty sure all their key guys are back. I'll go with a 3 team race for the region title with Colleton, Northwood and HH Prep. No way Heyward finishes last......too much pride in their football program, in fact I think they are one notch below the top 3, but very capable of upsetting any of them.
truth, i dont totally disagree with your rankings, but i heard the first baptist qb is not playin/coming back...and even if he was, i still think tha would be better, even without there running backs, as proud pop said, theres to much pride in their program. and you can never tell where hhp is going to be in the rankings until week one, when all of there....transfers, come in...so it could go either way
