With practice under way, thought I'd see who everyone thinks are the players to watch.

These are just guys I've seen personally:
Pinewood- Steed and Jennings are by far the best I've seen
Pg- Smith is pretty good and the Goer kid is solid
St. John's- Donelson lit it up when I saw him play

I don't understand the definition of solid or athletic, because I saw the Goer kid on 6 different occasions and I wouldn't use the word solid. He is an ok player for scisa. Not unless the big kid from Cathedral has improved a whole lot I wouldn't use the word athletic. He was horrible when his team lost to a bunch of midgets @ Newberry Academy. He couldn't dominate them. He was being pushed around like a rag doll. Newberry finished sixth in their region. Then they played forth place Oakbrook and got dominated. Even if their coach wasn't there they should have killed oakbrook. Now if the 6'8 kid is as athletic as you say he would have taken control of both of these games. I have seen both players and they are decent for scisa.

Nick Harriott is going to dominate all the scisa boys this year. Kids huge and bangs down low, and he plays like he has a chip on his shoulder. No one is going to stop him. Good Luck War Hawks!!

after the tourney this week in spartanburg i think steed and jennings showed they are 2 of the best players in the state. wat makes pinewood so special also is that not only jennings and steed can carry the load. kenneth manigault and jay williams played good tournaments also. no one can jus focus on one player wen playin pinewood. they proved that in the championship against dorman beatin them by 22.
