Pinewood over Hammond by 12 (I believe it was 76-64).
Observations: Hammond's Daniel Bailey is an inch or two taller at 6'4" and easily one of the Top 5 offensive players in SCISA. Pinewood's Ryan Steed may be the best defensive player in SCISA and a pretty good 1st half offensive player. Late in the game, though, Steed is absolutely sick on offense. I have never seen a player want the ball more late in the game and deliver more once he has it. |

LMA 61 Good Ballgame throughout FB hit a shot at the buzzer to win after Lma made 2 Free Throws with 12 seconds left to take the lead. Swampcats most most of the game but the biggest lead was around 6 or 7 points. Both of these teams play very hard. Lma won the girls game big. Crandall and Winnans can play and the Lma girls post players are all very solid players. |

OSP - sorry I missed you tonight.
Three things stood out to me tonight: - Bailey is impressive getting the ball in the hoop. Steed did a good job on him in the 1st half. - With the game on the line - Steed is THE MAN! He hit 10 or 11 FT's straight in the 4th before missing one. At least three of them were capping off three pt. plays the old-fashioned way. - Those three kids in the corner can flat out rock. The kid with the guitar was all over Dick Dale's "Miserlou". He nailed it. Sat. morning update - Steed scored 35, Bailey had 39. |
