Right now it looks like this:
1.Calhoun
2.Thomas Sumpter
3.Pee Dee
4.Dorchester/R.E. Lee
Considering the fact that;
Colleton Prep def. Calhoun 27-14
Northwood def TSA 35-14
Thomas Heyward def. Dorchester 27-19
Colleton def Dorchester 27-19
HH Prep def. Dorchester 9-0
and DA squeeked by First Baptist, the last place team in Region II.
It is almost safe to say that they shoud take the top six teams from region II and the top two from region I. The fact is that adding Northwood to Region II so someone else from region I could make the play-offs, has only made region II that much stronger.

I agree. I think that any of the 3 schools (Colleton Prep, Hilton Head Prep, St. Andrew's) that are fighting for the last two spots in region 2 would have a chance to finish first or second in region 1.

The fact is, if I was in region 2, I would want the fourth seed in the playoffs instead of the third seed. The fourth seed will stay on the same side of the bracket as Thomas Sumter and Hilton Head Christian where the 3 will be in line to play Northwood in the second round.

it all depends on the Colleton Prep/Hilton Head Christian game this afternoon.

If HHCA wins, then the playoffs from the lowerstate are practically set and would look like this.

1. Northwood
2. HHCA
3. St. Andrews
4. HHP

The upperstate is standing something like this:

1. Thomas Sumter
2. Calhoun Academy
3. Pee Dee Academy
4. DA or REL

The bracket would look like this:

Game 1 US #1 TSA vs LS #4 HHP
Game 2 LS #2 HHCA vs US #3 Pee Dee

Game 3 LS #1 Northwood vs #4 US whomever
Game 4 US #2 Calhoun vs #3 St. Andrews

Game 1 and 2 winners would play for one Championship Spot
Game 3 and 4 winners would play for other Championship spot

No, there are still a couple of games that could change a couple of factors.

If Hilton Head Prep was to lose to First Baptist then Colleton Prep would be in and would be the third seed and St. Andrew's would be the four. I would guess that HHP will be a 21 point favorite at First Baptist.

The only other factor that could change is the #1 seeds. If HHCA was to beat Northwood then they would be the #1 and Northwood would be the #2. Whichever team wins the game between TSA and CA will be the #1.

If I read the records right, three teams in each region have locked up playoff spots.

In the upperstate TSA, CA and Pee Dee have all secured spots.

In the lowerstate Northwood, HHCA and St. Andrew's are all guaranteed.

HHP controls their own destiny, win and they are in.

Dorchester plays Florence Christian
Robt E Lee plays Pee Dee Academy

I don't know what those teams region records are to know how they have to finish.

If REL beats PDA and DA beats FCS then it will be a three way tie in that region.

Those look right to me, except that we don't know yet which team will be the #1 and the #2 from the upperstate, do we? Aren't both of those teams still undefeated in the region with the game being at Thomas Sumter this Friday night?

This is true. I guess in my mind I have already given that #1 spot to Northwood.

Also, Hilton Head Prep has to win at First Baptist or St Andrews is the #4 seed and Colleton Prep is the #3.
