What are some thoughts about the best football teams that didnt make the playoffs?

In AAA, Laurence Manning probably has the best team not to make the playoffs in years. In years past, beating a tough-nosed Wilson Hall team and giving Augusta Christian all they could handle would have been clear indicators of a playoff bound team.

SCISA AAA football has improved dramatically from top to bottom in the last several years. The Swampcats improved dramatically from last year, but it just wasn't enough.

I thought The Byrnes Schools was a real good program at the Class A level.

I think Palmetto Christian will be a tough competitor next season in Class A as well.

Will Coastal Christian Prep. field a varsity program next season?

In AA

Colleton Prep was clearly the best team not to make the playoffs and Thomas Heyward would probably have made them if they played in the upstate region.

Colleton Prep pounded Calhoun which is the #2 seed from the upperstate and also beat St. Andrews which is the #3 seed from the lowerstate.

CPA also beat DA which is i think the 4th seed from the upper state. Just stinks that most of the better teams were in the lower state. CA and TSA were the only teams that should have made the playoffs from the upper state in my opinion. They need to rework the playoff seeding for AA and AAA. Maybe take top 3 from each region and 2 wild cards. Because i think you are right CPA and THA were better than the 3 and 4 seeds in the other region.

i deliver

Once again old school you have hit the nail on the head. The LM team is an excellent football team. They might have the best LOS of all the AAA teams.

with your understanding of the regular season games played in your region all Dorchester Academy and Pee Dee Academy have to do is stay within 26 or 27 point of Norhtwood Academy and Hilton Head Christian. That would have them playing at the same level as the schools you say should have made the playoffs. Good luck to all the teams in the playoffs from both regions. and the best team will win regardless of the region they played in or who they have to go through during the playoffs. GOOD LUCK TO ALL 8TEAMS

I think St. Andrew's did too.
