wow. what happened to TSA? I thought this would be closer as WH and HH played a basically even game in Cola a few weeks ago and TSA obviously matched up with WH just fine.

RWA 8

Good game through two and half quarters. RWA had a chance to score twice in the first quarter inside the 15 and 10 yardline, but 2 ints turned it back the other way and DC score on two plays with 2 min. in first half to lead at half 7 - 0.

As well as TSA played WH, WH shot itself in all 22 feet at that game. Wouldn't happen again!!!

It almost did tonight!! Seriously though, if WH had played mistake free football they should have won somewhat handily instead of getting lucky on a missed XP in overtime. If WH gets their head on straight they will be 1 or 2 in the region. We have a good defense but I don't know if we have the offensive weapons to beat Pinewood.

In a game that was only noteworthy due to the ridiculous number of times the ball hit the ground (around 20- mostly unforced on bad snaps, poor/mishandled pitches and botched handoffs) and double digit turnovers, the team that did it a bit less wins.
Congrats to Charleston Collegiate. Game winning TD with about 20 seconds left.

Can anyone tell me if there is a sideline penalty in high school football. Can you brake the huddle with 12 men w/o penalty?

Breaking the huddle with more than 11 is a dead ball foul for a good reason.

The reason for the rule is that the defense must be given an opportunity to see what they have to defense. If one player breaks the huddle to go off the field, he takes a defensive player with him until the offensive player is off the field. It is only then that the defensive player would realize he is out of position.

Some would break the offensive huddle with the 15 if it were not illegal. It is too significant an advantage within the game and therefore it is illegal.
