Does anyone know if there is an outlet for a homeschooled athlete to play football / baseball at the high school level in the Horry County area? The State legislature allowed the "Equal Access" bill die, so they can't play for the public school, but what about private schools? Has anyone heard if there is a chance that the "Equal Access" legislation will be brought up again this session?

CSRA out of the Agusta-Aiken area, they play 8-man football and baseball. Wardlaw has beaten them this year, so maybe they could give you some insight. However, they aren't a member of SCISA,they are independent.
SCISA requires all athletic participants of an accredited school to be not only enrolled at that school but they must also attend a minimum of three classes per day to play or practice with a team sponsored by that school.
SCISA has a website also....and if I am not mistaken, the particulars can be found there.

I remember a few years ago some kids I knew that were home schooled and they played basketball for a SCACS school (Christian school league) I beleive that Conway Christian is in this league. If you live in that area you may want to give them a call.
