Any thoughts on this Friday's encounter between the "Cavaliers" and the "Stallions"?

My guess:

St. John's Christian 32,
Williamsburg Academy 12

Wonder if we get to hear Stallion Jock cry that they did not want to play football anyway like he belly-ached after we pounded them in basketball -- SJCA winning that one by over 50 points. After that game -- we got to hear how WA was a football school and not a basketball one.... Well, we'll see. Hopefully, Sublet will be back in our line-up to compliment an ever growing number of outstanding performers.

I work with a couple of WA fans and they think they are going to beat you guys pretty good. One of them sent me a picture of the football team and was laughing at how small you guys looked. They said they would make you guys wish you would have stayed in 8-man ball and not tried to play with the big boys. I told them to put their money where their mouth was but oddly enough haven't had any takers yet.

Who are the WA players to watch?

....or after last weeks fiasco of dirty plays, should I ask if there are any players to WATCH OUT for?

Williamsburg has one player and that number 10. If you can stop him they have no chance. Robert E Lee ran crazy on them last week. So if St. John's got a good running back they will win.

We will see. No doubt, Williamsburg is better than their 1-5 record indicates as they have lost to both Laurence Manning and Robert E. Lee
(AAA schools) and have beaten Wyman King who is usually pretty good. Another one of their losses is to Dillon Christian. I think they are the only SCISA school to keep DCS under 50 points.

That being said, I think the "Stallions" will be "green with envy" come Friday evening.
But...If my boys underestimate WA, we will be licking our wounds and eating crow in Moncks Corner.

Sjca does have a good running back. and another one to come up behind him. that downey boy is one hell of a running back and they also have another back who is not as fast but is a tough runner.... should be an easy one if they come to play.....

There are no players "To Watch Out For!" as far as dirty play is concern, but their qb is an ath. on O/D. They play hard and seem to be coached very well.

Good game to both of you.

Lets look at SJCAs schedule

Laurens (loss-- 8 man last year)
Cathedral (bottom tier 1A at best)
Andrew Jackson (8 man THIS YEAR)
Charleston Coll (lost everything from last year's team, struggling this year)
Beaufort (I believe this is their first year of football?)
Clarendon Hall (Average 1A, SJCA didn't appear to like getting hit...finally)

You may need to watch some film before you so quickly assume that SJCA will "shred" WA.

If SJCA plays the same schedule that WA has, the record would be the same, and the stats worse!

SJCA doesn't move the ball against LMA, not even late when their replacements are in.

SJCA is lucky to come out walking against DCA.

SJCA scores against REL, but not 26.

SJCA loses to WKA

SJCA ekes out a close one against RWA

As for REL running through WA...there were some poor coaching adjustments in the second half. REL goes through SJCAs D like a knife through butter!

I guess you all will settle it on the field, good luck at the corral.

SJCA has not played RWA. Just saying. But I'm like you, they best come to play because if they think it going to be a walk in the paek; they will be surprised.

Sorry...didn't make it clear...that was a prediction, if SJCA plays RWA, I believe that they would eke out a close one, their speed would be trouble for RWA. It was meant to compare SJCA's results if they played WA's schedule.
