quote: OK, guys...
I did not mean to offend anyone, although I appearently did.......SCA should be proud of their win, I just posted the loss....
I am NOT a Laurens High fan....I do not think LHS is a "world beater".....I support SCISA...I am not envious... I was merely stating my opinion to spur some discussion. I thought that was what this board was for......Maybe I should have said: In my humble opinion, SCA could not compete in a 4A region over a full season. (Meaning: Yes they would win some, but lose more than they would win.)
49er, do you have a school you are associated w/ or are you just a scisa fan? It appears SCA was excited and 49er thought it was a fluke and wanted to prove that (could be wrong but that is what it seems like!)

49er. When a SCISA school with less than 60 boys can play with ( much less defeat ) a school like Laurens which has 10 times as many male students, it's a big deal. I agree with you most Scisa schools couldn't compete in 4A. But then their enrollment would put them in 1A, 2A in any case. They would be able to compete there very well. We in SCISA are constantly put down by the public schools, so maybe we are a little thin skinned. So no harm no foul.
