Rushing-Singleton from Northwood is first,and Headley from Colleton Prep is 2nd. Singleton has 1,057 yards, Headley-599.

Gilliard from Pinewood is 2nd in receiving, while Haynes is 5th in passing.

Is that from the Charleston paper?

It's too bad that coaches don't update those statistics more often, because the kids to deserve the credit.

I know Headley has about double that total. One of the Colleton Prep coaches told me last week he was approaching 900 yards rushing and he had over 200 in the Hilton Head Prep game.

Headley is now at 1,242. Singleton went crazy again Friday, so I imagine he's close to the 1,500-1,750 yard mark.

The stats from the paper are two weeks behind! Haynes and Gilliard hooked up for 158 and 2tds on Sep. 26. Haynes rushed for 94 2tds and passed for 234 and 3tds that game. None of those stats are up to date.
