St. John's girls are struggling at the moment against some of the top AA competition. This week they face both Calhoun and Pee Dee Academy.

Calhoun is that good...However, when you are up 34-1 at halftime and 40-3 late in the third...it is time to put in the second string..
which was not done. However, CA's second string appeared to be as good as the first string. Calhoun will definitely be a state title contender in girls AA basketball.

So Calhoun was running up the score? I heard they were not that good this year. I can tell you PEE DEE is very strong and will probably beat you by even more but the coach of Pee Dee might not let that happen. Good luck in the game. How about Jefferson Davis or Holly Hill girls, how do they look? Does anyone know.

W.W. king's girls could well make a run in 2AA. If the referees let the games be rough and tumble, very physical, then that will be just what King wants. These girls play more like boys.

Holly Hill's girls defeated Jefferson Davis in the War Hawk Invitational at CPA. HHA went on to win the Tournament by defeating Thomas Heyward.

I have seen Calhoun, Colleton Prep, Jeff Davis, and Holly Hill's girls play. Calhoun's girls can play with any of these. I would not underestimate them.
