MANNING — Laurence Manning Academy's B boys basketball opened its season with a 51-15 win over Colleton Prep at Bubba Davis gymnasium.

Nick Gibbons led the Swampcats with 17 points while Will McNair had 13

HOLLY HILL 45 THOMAS SUMTER 34
HOLLY HILL — Thomas Sumter Academy's varsity boys basketball team fell to 2-6 on the season with a 45-34 loss to Holly Hill Academy on Tuesday at the Holly Hill gymnasium.

Evan Whaley led the Generals with 11 points. Michael Simmons topped Holly Hill with 18 points.

TSA plays host to Richard Winn on Tuesday.

THOMAS SUMTER

Whaley 11, Soles 8, Busch 8, Scott 3, Stengel 2, Thompson 2.

HOLLY HILL

Simmons 18, Cason 9, Eaddy 7, Shelly 7, Watkins 3, Brownlee 1.

Wilson Hall's varsity boys basketball team evened its record at 3-3 on the season with a 67-53 victory over Carolina Academy on Tuesday at the Carolina gymnasium.

Reid Schwartz led Barons with 18 points, while Chad Brading added 15. Drew Phillips led Carolina with 21 points, while Carter Stokes had 14 and Wes McCutchen 10.

In the junior varsity game, Wilson Hall won 49-30. Will Duffy led the 5-1 Barons with 10 points.
