I think is BS has Murph at say..90%..Dogs wear down Mauldin and pull it out by 14 or more.
if Murph doesn't play or isn't at least 90%..well..not sure to be honest. Im gonna say BS 28 Mau 24 |

but i say bs by 17 We are.... 17+ straight winning seasons 1980, 2001, 2008 region champs 1994, 1999 state runner ups 2000 state champs we are Dorman |

Talked to the running backs coach on Saturday. He indicated they would hold Murph out of practice and will play Friday. Hope the ankle responds to treatment well for the rest of the season.

Why is everyone saying that BS should win. Who have they beaten that has a winning record? I believe Mauldin has a winning record. Doesnt that mean they should beat BS. Either way it will be a good game. And I hope Dorman wins by 42.

I don't think "everyone" is saying BS should win, but being a Bulldog-backer I believe BS will win. BS gets a bad rap for having a weak 4A schedule, but I would say Mauldin's is definitely not any tougher. Other than Spartanburg, what big wins do they have? Not to mention, the Vikings had an off-night with 5 turnovers. It's hard to beat anybody with that many TO's. With all that said, I believe that not only is BS much improved, but Mauldin is as well. We will have to come ready to play to bring home the victory! |

I believe Spartan High had 7 turnovers. 5 fumbles and 2 interceptions. I hope we can hold onto the ball better than that this week. Should be a good game.

Mauldin did better against Dorman than what the score was. Do not take Mauldin too lightly. I still say that BS wins this one 27-21. |

BS is garbage. Nothing more than the product of a weak schedule. To say that mauldin and BS schedules are comparable lets do that:
Mauldin: BS: 1. @ Hillcrest W 28-7 Chapman W 62-7 2. @JL Mann L 10-7 @Wren W 62-28 3. Hanna W 14-13 York W 26-14 4. @Westside W 25-24 Aiken L 23-21 5. Laurens L 34-33 Emerald W 42-7 6. Easley W 62-0 Fort Mill W 16-13 7. @ Dorman L 37-6 Hillcrest W 38-13 8. @SpartanburgW 30-13 Dorman L 14-0 Opponents win loss record: Mauldin:33-31 BS:24-40 Now lets go game by game. Both beat hillcrest. the two 3A teams on the schedule Chapman and JL Mann. Whose better? Aiken and Laurens cancel each other out. Wren beat easley so adv BS. York and Westside cancel out. Fortmill and Hanna that has to be adv Hanna at least they have a win. Both lost to Dorman. I guess BS lost a little better if there is any logic to that. I guess the last two are Spartanburg and Emerald. Didnt know who to compare Emerald to since I didnt know 4A teams played crappy 2A teams. So you tell me what in the course of the two schedules these teams played this year leads you to believe BS has an advantage. Yall guys make me laugh. |

Ok maybe garbage was a bit much. I just dont see how you can say that BS is far and away better. All six wins are against not quality teams. Mauldin doesnt have any quality wins either but Im just stating the facts. People should be happy that the region has two teams that are worth talking about other than the big two. I hope it is a really good game.

First of all i said garbage was a bit harsh. You can not be 6-2 and not be any good at all. It just makes me laugh when people say that oh that team only lost by 14 and the other team lost by 30 something to that same team. what kind of logic is that. I couldnt care less if both teams were 7-1 and that one loss was to a common opponent. You still cant compare that game and say definitively one side has an advantage. Maybe Mauldin cant play good on the road I dont know, and maybe BS plays really good at home. You are right when you say that I shouldnt be down cause BS played Emerald. They beat them right. Isnt that what good teams do beat the people they are supposed to. I hope the two teams play hard and I will get back to the internet asap to check the score. And chick if you only knew?
