Your basing that solely on Florida. Kentucky hasn't done anything in years and Alabama, well that's a stretch...it's not a bad league but not in the same overall conversation as the ACC, Big East, Pac-10 or the Big-12..

The SEC by far look at the facts, they have the only two teams playing for the CWS title.

I believe that the SEC has more national championships than any other conference.

I believe both these conferences are the top 2 overall in sports. The SEC is the best football conference but is better than it gets credit for in basketball. The ACC is the best in basketball and is underated in football.I think both leagues are solid in baseball and pretty good in every other sport.

With respect to baseball, you have to look top to bottom. Yes, the top teams in the ACC are as good as the top teams in the SEC, but the bottom teams in the SEC are much better than the bottom teams in the ACC. BC, VT, & Duke are much worse than any SEC team.

Also, it should be noted that the ACC has not won a NC in baseball since 1955.

The SEC has won 121 national championships as of the end of the last academic school year. The ACC has 97. As for recent basketball, since '93, they have 11 final four appearances to the sec and big 10's 8...the acc is obviously better, but the sec isn't far off there.

Overall the SEC top to bottom is better. The only sport the ACC can compete is basketball.

I say the SEC will dominate the ACC this year. You wait til Klempson comes to Williams BRice this year. The parking lot will be solid orange in the second quarter. A mass exit....Can't wait...
