I know you've got your bandwagon glasses on, but you can't honestly say that that wasn't intentional.

I'm not going to go as far as Fly did and say that it was typical Kry stuff, but that particular incident was intentional.

Even if you wanted to try to argue that henderson was going for the block, you don't block shots with your forearm.

It was unintentional and it was fairly obvious it wasn't. All you Tar Heel fans just want to make something out of nothing. See my Henderson always out of control when hes in the air and defenseless comment above.

That is good to hear. SwampTiger(Tar Heel fan) said he heard on some radio post game conf. that his cheek bone was broken and out 3-4 weeks. Guess he made that up trying to get a rise out of people.

How can anyone say he was going for the ball after seeing the video and now the pictures? You can spew your bs about "Henderson is always out of control", but the pictures tell a different story. Ball nowhere near Henderson's arm/hand and you can tell from the video and pictures that he took a swing.

You're a joke whoa!

Some quotes from Pat Forde of ESPN.com about the game.

"With the Blue Devils obviously inferior to the Heels, their only chance to win this game and derail Carolina's ACC title hopes was to junk the game up and win on effort"

"In the end, Henderson clearly took the physical play thing too far. Took it all the way to the locker room and an invitation to wear street clothes in Tampa on Thursday night."

"Long one of the prettiest offensive teams in college basketball, Duke now is slow, sloppy and lacking create-your-own-shot scorers."

"So Duke wakes up Monday with a fresh black eye and a fourth loss to Carolina in the past five meetings. For the image-obsessed Blue Devils, it gets no worse than being bad and being dirty."

As a 40 plus year Carolina fan, I have seen the up's and downs of college basketball, but our red-headed wanna-be's from Durham (notice I won't even say that UGLY word. When I spell it, the word has 2 o's and no uk in it.) bring a whole new meaning to "Low Class" And silly me thought that coach K was as low as it could possiby be! The Bob Knight mentality that this guy brings to the gym just doesn't work in the ACC. Time will tell the true story of that guy. His 1992 verbal threat to then Kansas coach, Roy Williams, tells the truth about just how inferior he really is! Go Heels.

Only a Penguin can be this cool !

<--Duke fan

from a couple of angles it looks like it COULD be intentional. but one angle shows that as he went in the air, saw the ball going out of Tyler's hands, he reacted and tried to grab the ball, thus moving his hands downward and his elbow upward. Tyler's was still on his way up and both players crossed paths while going towards each other.

It was an "accident" you can't name any other situations so shut your trap, FryGuy. Roll Eyes

This makes it 3 times in 5 years that a player from that team has hit a UNC player in the face during the game. And then you can throw in scrub Andre Buckner shoving Matt Doherty, and that's 4 examples in the last 5 years just off the top of my head.

He didn't INTEND to hurt Tyler but there is NO question he meant to commit a HARD foul...He came from 15-17 feet away to get in the action and then when he went up he never got either arm above his shoulder...

Whoa you don't know the difference between basketball and tidly winks and never played a competitive minute in your life so listening to your Knowledge of the game is laughable..I've watched as much if not more hoops than you this year and in my lifetime and NEVER have i seen a guy go up to block a shot and never get his hands extended vertically....NO quesiton he meant to fall him hard but I don't think the intent was to injure him the way he did.

Whoa-

Nothing to say about the 3 times in the last 5 years a player from your bandwagon team hit a UNC player in the face? Or about scrub Andre Buckner shoving Matt Doherty on national tv?

Didn't think so.
