You can see how far gone the ball is and can see Henderson sizing TH up. It's like the Zapruder film- back and to the left, back and to the left, back and to the left. What are you trying to prove? No one in their right mind is gonna argue that Henderson intended to foul him hard and keep him from scoring. But if you are able to watch that and say that he intended to hit him across the face and break his nose then you are full of crap. He was going to keep him from scoring and something bad happened as a result. He has to sit a game. Quit freaking whining.
I've said all along he had no intent on whacking him in the face. He intended to foul him hard but not injure him....I thought the punishment fit the crime so to speak..

Henderson went up with intent of hitting Hans and putting him in the floor. As I've said, was he trying to hit him across the nose? He's not talented enough to do that.
But was he trying to hit Hans with an elbow/forearm with the intent to injure and put him in the floor? Absolutely, and there's no way anyone can debate that- even though people like Whoa will try.

What's so hard about that to understand? You seem to be pretty level-headed, so surely you must understand that you don't hit someone with the intention of it feeling good.

I think the kid's intention was blocking a shot and keeping hansbrough from the rim. He tried to mash him, no doubt, but he didn't wish to injure him. You never fouled a kid hard to keep them from dunking on you or scoring an easy layup? He was frustrated and acted wildly, and ACCIDENTLY caught him in the nose.

Yep, I fouled plenty of people to keep them from an easy layup. But it never included coming at them with my elbow and forearm aimed right at them.
If you look at picture 6 in the list he's looking right at TH before his arm, which is cocked, makes contact with his face.
In picture 7 he is extending his arm outward as he makes contact with TH, and in picture 8 it shows his follow through in the direction of TH- the floor.
There are plenty of ways to stop an easy layup without the intent to do harm that Henderson showed.
Think of the play in context; UNC was up big, had just dunked the ball, and like it or not, THAT'S why TH was still in the game; to dunk again, and rub in the win.
Henderson took it personally, as well he should, and made no doubt that Hansborough would not be dunking that ball. Did he mean to hit him and make him bleed? Certainly not. Did he mean to leave no doubt that TH wouldn't make it to the rim? Absolutely.
If you were half as smart as you think you are, you would know why TH was in the game.
Roy tried to get him out of the game when Paulus fouled out. Frasor went to the FT and Mike Copeland wasn't at the scorer's table before Frasor had the ball- so no sub. Frasor missed, TH got the rebound and was fouled by McBob- so Copeland can't come in then either. TH misses the 2nd FT- again, Copeland can't come in on a missed FT- gets the rebound and then is hammered by Henderson.
TH was in the game because #^$%'s starters were still in the game. Roy tried to get him out but the situation never presented itself.
That Duke is class-less and has thugs/players to take out their frustrations of being beat twice by UNC on players by assaulting them with injury.......

Are you capeable of complete senteces and coherent thought, or does your mind actually work that way?
