Yep, I knew that is what all of the unc aka it was "intentional" (From their view) fans would say. It's sad for Gerald that he will not be in the ACC tourney until his Soph season but right or wrong (as sad as it is) he served the time for his action. Congrats to NC State, they shot the ball unbelievably well in this game.

I would also like to add that Gerald called and apologized to Hansborugh this week. That was a classy move and the right thing to do.

Unless you mean in the NBA, I doubt they ever will meet again. Hansbrough's gone...So is Wright. The good thing about McRoberts's sucky season, he almost has to stay another year.

You are right, he (McRoberts) would have to be a fool to leave now. However I still wouldn't totally rule it out though!

I hope he stays...He's useless...McRoberts that is....And don't be so sure tyler leaves.....Wright probably so, but don't get your hopes up that Tyler moves on....

He's not useless. Dude can play, he just isn't a leading scorer. I cannot tell you how excited I am about this Nolan Smith kid. With him, the King kid (3 point shooting lefty), and Singler (the Dirk clone), Duke has to be mentioned as a contender next season.

And while we're talking about Wright, why does the offense at UNC not go through him? He is clearly the best player on that team, and he seems to play second fiddle to Hansborough. And you're on something bad if you think TH is better than Wright...

I agree shed, TH does seem like the kinda guy that would break it off in another fellow's tail. That's why Fly Guy (patron saint of the midlife crisis) is always swinging from his sack.

Mcroberts has been a BUST and you know it...He should be much more of a force than he is....

As for the TH-BR comparisons i think it's obvious Brandon is much more athletic. At this point i don't think you can say he's a better overall player...Maybe it's experience that's made the difference who knows...If Brandon played with the same toughness and tenacity as Tyler then i think there would be no question who the better player would be....Wright's game is more NBA ready...That's why i say don't get your hopes up that Tyler leaves...He needs to work on his post moves and not just bullying his way to the basket because they will not work in the NBA. He also needs to improve on his passing out of double teams and his 10-15 feet game.....

Was more expected of 2? Yes. But he is by no means a "bust." He is a solid player, but he is not the super scoring threat that he was expected to be.

He is drastically improved, all around, and I expect he will continue to do so.

I hate to burst your bubble, but TH is gone. He was on the cover of SI and SN, preseason. He's on a team bound for the Sweet 16 - maybe farther, and he's the media darling. This is as high as his stock is going to get.

Again you've must have been following european basketball the last several years.....

He was a first team All-American as a FRESHMAN...would have been a lottery pick last year and decided to come back....Not saying he will not leave (i know you Duke fans hope he does) but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he stayed...Again his game is not NBA ready...If he wants to be career journeyman and the 3 or 4th off the bench then he will leave...You also have to look at the big men that will be in the draft this year including Wright and he very well could fall to mid-late 1st round...Also keep in mind he has no family pressure or needs to have to leave early.....

I agree we will be a lot better team next year. I think the Wild Card is Patrick Patterson though. I am not so sure we will get him but it would be nice to have a true freshman Impact Big Man. Brian Zoubek will be a good big man with some work, it's just taking longer than expected.
